apparently a certain bespectacled ginner had a few choice words too
“Manning up” cuts both way, we got a goal that didn’t cross the line at B Stortford and an unlikely penalty ,we only really care about others mistakes, human nature I guess?
I have seen similar issues at games, at Bishop Stortford once completely drunk moron felt the need to berate with fouled mouther tirades any opposition player or official who came near that side of the pitch ,he appeared next to us in the 2nd half with a full pint and he’d clearly had too much, instead of telling him to shut up his friends thought he was funny . Same at Buxton over Xmas, our fans migrated from behind a goal to the centre near where we were, they swarmed down half of them spilling the beers they were carrying and they stopped right in front of us, two of them could barely stand and they proceeded to verbally abuse a female lino with the usual vile comments on top of the usual boorish BS.They then moved further down and continued to cause trouble nearer the flag causing th egame to be stopped for a short while as the ref made his report to the 4th official .The sooner we get promoted and these idiots away from the nice little grounds often run by well meaning volunteers the better, these clubs don’t deserve this .If I was an Iron director I’d contact away clubs and suggest a beer ban
You play the hand your dealt ,so to speak, we as a club dealt our own hand and ended up in a division with lesser experienced refs ,they have to learn somewhere .You cannot have two refs running around a pitch so these guys are in the worst position of all, they have nowhere to hide and awfully abusive players and fans putting untold pressure on ,often young, inexperienced humans .I do have to say our team is pretty indisciplined too.
Refs cannot be coached through games they sit an exam get trained and effectively get thrown into the limelight to learn on the job . An assessor on the side is all they get and he’s there to assess ,another pressure ,not aid
This last one was a clear mistake and as apollo says they cannot get it right all the time. Cameras and phone cameras giving every angle have only served to highlight the few mistakes they make .They make fewer mistakes than the players they referee I’d wager .If any driver for instance had that level scrutiny they’d lose their licence immediately none of us would have a licence now .
The comment regarding Whitehall shows him to be A ,human ( we’d all lean towards that if there was doubt} ) B Totally naïve, what did he think he was doing by saying that,if he actually did?
WE lost our heads ,missed chances again and lost the game, that’s not something to shy away from1 user thanked author for this post.
whoop!
where was this?
not sure what it wrote “for”
” up, a pole keeping it taut gave way when celebrating the goal ”
A pole was celebrating a goal and gave way? you sure that some moron didn’t, once again ,let our club down?Wonder how long she’ll wait for treatment
it will turn people who buy them gay
Symbolism ,exactly that’s all it is.Its surely symbolically nice to reflect Britain as it is in our national “symbols”
looks like another fake outrage to me,nice to see Kier Faker pretending he cares for his right wing voters
They’re not allowed to promote or advertise it ,some sort of business law. There has been good interest and now Michelle has to set something up,. I cannot remember what it was she actually said but as soon as she does it , those who expressed interest will be told. She just said please ask them to be patient ,they are on it

perhaps their parents might teach them the value of money less Fifa manager, stylish clothes ,fancy phones etc or real football? I as an adult wage earner still have have to make those choices in life why not them? I thought a right winger like you would love that sentiment?
Or we could get a con man in with short arms and big promises to fool idiots into thinking the club can run for nothing while bringing in prize assets? These are just price adjustments to correct your pals mistakes .It’s dirt cheap when you consider it’s a full time business,in fact too cheap1 user thanked author for this post.
£190 for under 18s is a bargain, not much more than days wage for them no doubt and certainly less than fashionable jumpers they like to wear.£199 for a season here or two games at Arsenal etc?
I’d say Hilton’s “wow price” hamstrung them somewhat, Left them with a £300 barrier to break through, had he not set his super cheap tickets so low and a bit nearer the £300 line they could ?
clearly not Evans, his legs don’t move fast enough to flash
Only Burney could moan about people putting words in his mouth by putting words in someone else’s
The only entity to blame is SUFC for sliding out of the comfort leagues
Perhaps that have crap WiFi and can’t see what the experts in Scunthorpe think,I’m sure they would love such genius
I really wouldn’t criticise Kate Middleton too much – Prince Andrew sometimes edits photographs to include people he’s never even met.
oh dear never mind , just another chance to make us all care and push the idea of royalty being normal in a democracy
Yes “let’s just embarrass people publicly by calling them overpaid,”I’m sure that’s what every board member wants, what effing world do you live in?
They’re footballers not baby killers , people want to embarrass and abuse them for not playing a game well? The only chance of them matching current salaries or playing at a higher level is if Chris Swan gets a job in club recruitment somewhere
I doubt there’s anyone outside the current board putting money in, several of whom have deepish pockets
Are there two videos? Or were you just brought up badly?
Is that an opinion bordering on personal abuse?,let The Juryeff decide.
It’s an opinion based on the old fashioned idea that behaviour is taught and the outside chance he may have seen a different video, If you think acting like a baying mob is OK somebody taught you that it is ok.
My actual thoughts are even stronger and would be considered abuse,
I also saw some idiot try minimise the actions of those who attacked the keeper at the last home game by saying “they didn’t hit him”
We see this crap all the time, what violent world do they live in to consider it ok?Are there two videos? Or were you just brought up badly?
Equating acting like a deranged mob in someone’s face with a web conversation that can be ignored or not even known about? I disrespectfully suggest I was right above
I think most sensible fans feel the frustration but also see the financial predicament there is in sacking a coach with a contract, thankfully this one has a set term .Rumours are just that ,rumours. They may will turn into facts .It’s pretty clear to me that the best course of action would be to announce his leaving at the end of the season. install a caretaker on a trial basis who may take it without a pay rise ? Then upgrade him/her when the Dean contract ends? As some like Dean,it’s fair to let him go gardening with a thank you and no hard feelings
