Barton, maybe you can explain how starving the club of finances will help it? I’m yet to hear one.
I think you’ll find it was Brottoniron. Check your facts, ‘do your research’ etc. And less of the hyperbole please. The fans aren’t the ones ‘starving’ the club of finances, and I haven’t seen one comment about not attending helping the club. People are attending less because they’ve had enough, they don’t think for a second that it will help the club.

Yes, seriously UTI99. He should gift some of his wealth to make the team worthy of watching, start attracting fans back and make the club a more attractive proposition for potential buyers. Isn’t that what an astute businessman would do?

I’m glad that thug that assaulted Sharp got a 2 year sentence. I don’t want violent t***’s like that at football or elsewhere. Couldn’t give a toss if he was under the influence of whatever, or has other issues. Absolutely no excuse for it and hopefully a tough sentence might just deter similar incidents in future.
Not getting in to religion and politics about this on here JI. Though I found it amusing that you say this isn’t the place for it either, then proceed to an essay introduction!

They’re there to stop pitch invasions not act like a guerrilla faction fighting fire with fire. There are ways of crowd controlling and some of those security overstepped their remit, in my opinion. No room for them at the club or in society either.

Less to do with moving out of town (though it was / is a factor) and more to do with the tin can Pearson built and the current dross on the pitch. It’s always been pretty poor at Glanford Park but there has been times it’s been buzzing, particularly when the team are doing well, with some atmosphere at least. Add to that the declining state of the place and facilities, yes, Swann is massively to blame.

Choosing my words carefully: no room for these louts in football or society. Grossly dramatic? Not as grossly dramatic as attacking players and other club officials.
