Only 12 employee reviews for certain roles, and spread over a few years, but generally very good feedback. Pay satisfaction? 65% said they thought they got paid fairly:

Okay by me if you want to deny this statement was anything but trouble causing sarcasm:
‘not that I’m blaming them god lord no they are always innocent.’
Ah well. Case closed as far as I’m concerned.
It seems impertinent to ‘like / thank’ your post above JI but I’m sure many others share the sentiments.

I was referring to plastic fans from provincial towns supporting big clubs and said just that to be fair. Nowhere have I said that people aren’t entitled to like, love, dislike and hate any team they want. Just my opinion but with particular reference to Liverpool hating Man U fans. You know, the thrust of the topic you started? Thank you.

As the Americans say: ‘go figure’.

Good piece by the Cod’s Chairman here:
Compare and contrast:
“As an entrepreneur with a decent record of building and exiting businesses I am often asked about the secret of success in business. I tell people there is no secret but the clues that seem to improve your odds are all about culture – focus on building a culture of high trust and clear values, foster an attitude of continuous learning and most importantly be prepared to put the required effort in. Or in other words, trust, talent and graft.”
That’s BS. It may well be the majority but it’s definitely not ‘every’. One was telling me this week how he wanted liverpool not city to win the league the other Sunday and for them to beat Real. That’s just one person. Sure there’s plenty more. Mind you, he’s not a plastic fan, still lives in Manchester and a season ticket holder.
George Thomas! Yeah, that didn’t work out did it. What a waste. The Chelsea striker was Ike Ugbo. Showed signs in his first game or two, then pants.
We’ve had plenty of loanees who have done well in the past before Swann slammed the brakes on and when we had half decent manager’s and the dressing room was positive.
I know a few real Man U supporters my age (I.e. those who were born and bred there, still live there, season ticket holders etc) and as much as Liverpool are their biggest rivals, they wouldn’t dream of weaponising #alwaysthevictim and Hillsborough. They are decent respectable lads though. I wonder if a lot of this anti-Liverpool nonsense is perpetrated by the plastic United fans (I.e. those that weren’t born there, or if they were barely lived there, from provincial towns looking to support a big team etc) who mistakenly see it as a way of ‘earning their stripes’ with the real fans? Very sad.
Anyhow, back to the main topic, it’s good to see on social media that not all United fans are like that and actually use their brains:
#alwaysthevictims I hate this anti liverpool crap. Had united been there we would have had the same problems. It has been the police and security. Any united fan of the 70s and 80s knows Hillsborough could have happened to our fans.

Is this an autobiography forum?
Yep. The posts from Lord Kitchener are par for the course and, as Bucks was fond of saying, ‘entirely predictable’. And as Just Iron said, ‘small minded’. Liverpool fans booing the national anthem at Wembley must have had a few of these lot foaming at the mouth 🤣
Why don’t some of you find another hobby that gives you more enjoyment. I don’t think Football is for you.
I offered some constructive thoughts on sales with a positive ending and that’s your response? Ah well.

Glad it met your expectations. Ain’t gonna lose any sleep over it 😀
Nice day for a bit more pedantry eh awaywego? 🤣👍. You’ll be waiting a long-time if you think I’m going to start listing on social media the places I’ve been to and might be going back to (some nutters around you know). However, I can tell you they were Counties level 9 and 10 grounds. One place I had a gourmet quarter pounder with salad and relishes (£5). Another place I had 2 burritos (£5.50). Both pop up stands in the ground next to the pitch. It can be done and probably a lot easier at 9-10 level. And yes, I’d pay £5.50 for 2 good quality sausages on decent bread with relishes.

It’s a great start to season ticket sales, the real test will be how many are sold at the higher rates. Fairly obvious that there’s at least a thousand hard-core who will jump at the chance of a discount like that. I mean, if you’re committed to going it makes total sense to invest to save now with even more higher living costs due. See what happens next. If sales continue at a healthy rate then that’s fantastic.
In all seriousness, yes, I would buy decent food for £5.50 from an external pop-up caterer. Paid around that much at a few non league grounds last season and it was value for money due to the high quality.
He’s introduced enough sausages during his tenure awaywego. Lol.

At this stage, is that good bad or average? Not seen any emotional blackmail from UTI99 recently so guessing it might be about average?
‘free bus riding sporting utopia’ 😅🤣

Agree with Captain Cod, I’d rather pay another £1.50 for decent food than paying £4 for absolute rubbish.
Regarding the rest of his post, ignore awaywego CC, he’d pick a scrap with himself if there was no one else around! There’s always one though. I’m sure your meaningful contributions are welcomed by many on here. It’s good to have a bit of variety and input from friendly rival fans and chew the cud with them. Don’t let one person’s antagonism put you off posting in future. UTI
‘Real fans got to and into the game ok’
It appears you’re wrong about that too awaywego. Listen to the numerous Spanish journalists and fans about their similar experiences. You might also want to checkout the head of the Football Supporters Europe Association guy and what he has to say about it all. Widely reported now. Not difficult to find. Are all these independent and impartial reporters in collusion to try and get the blame shifted off Liverpool fans? Not a chance. Unfortunately for those who want to claim Liverpool fans are always crying the victim, reputation always proceeding them, etc, it’s okay to admit that this time, you got it wrong. In this day and age of filming/ social media, they can’t get away with blaming someone else for their organisational errors and failings like Uefa, the French police and government are doing. Every embarrassing lie they tell digs a deeper and deeper hole.
No reasoning with the prejudiced. If an independent enquiry takes place and finds Liverpool fans were totally not to blame, he’d say it was fixed or some such other BS. Anything to reinforce the stereotype and not admit that, regardless of their reputation, maybe this was down to sheer bad event management from the stadium officials and police as opposed to Liverpool fans.
I was being sarcastic Bartonirion66 in response to Jobsworth posting ‘brilliant’. It’s not hilarious at all. It stinks. Totally agree with your last post.
Not just fake tickets doing the rounds either!

Yeah, top laugh that getting ripped off. How feckin hilarious
Pull the other one Deerey, bit 2 faced there who’s falling into line with the authorities now, as you quoted in your first post.
A bit 2 faced? What, proven in court after persistently fighting for justice? Where do you get off ffs? You clearly don’t understand what a jury is if you think ‘authorities’ in the context I used it is the same thing as policing and stewarding.
That’s funny, wonder why you can find this on the Wiki Hillsborough page?
‘In addition to the “unlawful killing” verdict, the jury concluded that “errors or omissions” by police commanding officers, Sheffield Wednesday, the ambulance service and the design and certification of the stadium had all “caused or contributed” to the deaths, but that the behaviour of football supporters had not.’
