It’s a good point, who is running SUFC, Michelle and the board or Simon and the Clone island lot.
Elliott has backed him on the Cult page.
Not sure CMC was suggesting it wouldn’t / shouldn’t have started SF?
We’ve expected it for months tbh, if you’ve uprooted yourself from say the South of England say to your contract we can’t afford it anymore you’re going to be a bit peed off.
Perhaps if they brought someone clever enough in to boost our finances, the guy we brought back in isn’t, making the community game the Chester game, ya know one of the few games that a bigger than normal crowd was expected due to the away following, reducing seat prices for most by £3, season tickets bring a friend for a tenner, free service personnel and whatever,
Surely Curzon or Banbury should have been the games to go for this guy is costing the club thousands I was told he’d make us thousands. You’re of that age what was that song by the Who? “Won’t be fooled again”?
Might be other factors behind the scenes as mentioned by a few posters.
What are posters hinting could be wrong behind the scenes ?
The Cost cutting has started, two members of the back room staff have gone(Confirmed), players told they’re up for sale?

Max Bell having a go at us on X, Defending Dean and getting piled on. Marvellous.
Is that the best we can do?
I thought we were done with Shysters at this club.
He’s been able to sign National league players this season and so far, they are mid table. They only get 350, or less, as they aren’t popular in Peterborough and it can’t sustain 2 clubs at a high level.
I live down this way and Peterborough people have a bit of front about them but this lad thinks his own poo doesn’t stink.
He won’t last if appointed.Only bit wrong is he’s going to stay till the end of his contract at least
I guess Chris Plummer is doing the after match interviews?
Fecking bottle jobs
In other news I see two of the backroom team have left, one to the NHS and one to Carlisle.
Maybe Jimbob’s contract is only to the end of the season and will only be renewed if we achieve promotion?
18 Month Contract
Should’ve invested in some mops and squeegees!
Won’t be missed.Probably like a few in Scunny he wanted to copy his heroes Manchester United
Why? When you finally get the food, the bar, and the restaurant to decent quality you shouldn’t let it go. Time to give Pat a ring, his pulled pork stuffing and apple sauce roll was quality.
MK Iron is the one with the contacts.
He can give any unsold food to his favourite people.
Over on the cult page someone has said you can watch from a grassy bank… few end up doing that probably
So it’s perfectly alright for the club to be losing money and backing as long as it doesn’t reflect on the manager
Coming from a Hilton Apologist, sounds about right. You talk about me making stuff up TJO, in the 90s Mick Buxton total football era we averaged just over 2500 for a lot of Saturday games and 1500-1600 midweek.
3500 crowds really didn’t happen till the play off pushes.

If as someone has said the playing budget has been set for next season, how about start selling 2024-5 Season Tickets?

The town isn’t loving this team?
“You need a very good reason not to be at Glanford Park this Saturday”
I think some found it on Tuesday

Iron-awe has quoted 1800, are you going to go after him as well?

Only 54 out. Better numeracy than whoever agreed to pay Dean Rance £1500 a week

After watching a few of those videos the words of Ian Van Dahl must come to mind
“Do you ever question your life, do you ever wonder why”
He was in hospital on 3 October and signed off for 6 weeks.
In that period we beat Brackley 1-0, lost 2-0 to Chester, beat Spennymoor 6-0, beat Bishops stortford 6-1, drew 1-1 with Boston, won 2-0 at Banbury and beat Gloucester 2-0In actual fact, he missed the Brackley game and was back for all the other games you mentioned.
Go on then, which matches did he take the team.

That said, sacking JD when you’re second in the table is probably a little extreme, would be seen by most football pundits as a knee-jerk reaction, and would likely be out-of-character for the new board. We have to remember, Tamworth are on an incredible run of results and are top because they are winning every match they are playing.
Aye, it would bring back memories of Swann and Alexander. ‘Doing a Scunny’ would become a byword for clubs in promotion slots who sack their manager.
Most teams have a bad spell during the season. If we can get over ours and have a storming finish with a day out at Wembley, we’ll be in the dreamland of er… the NL before you can say ‘Tommy Orpington’.
Didn’t we have that tag already when Alexander, Dawson/Daws and McCall were sacked in quick succession?
You could be right, and it’s probably contributed to the freefall of the last few years. Talk of getting to the final and our own ‘Wembley’ might be optimistic, but getting rid of Dean at this stage would be even more folly. Who would want to take over a club that sacks its manager when second?
Here’s the run in, with venues.https://www.thenationalleague.org.uk/key-dates-confirmed-ahead-of-202324-season-76562
He’s not going to get sacked when he’s got a contract till the end of the season, what happens next who knows.
Interesting that AW Jr. has turned on him, a real end of days moment

Beestin still being around, there’s hope for us all who turn up for work and do as little as possible.
Starting to turn on Jimmy as well
