I don’t think I’ll be rushing back to GP come October. I’d probably go to a non-league ground like Brigg or Bottesford where there aren’t many people and plenty of open air but I don’t think I’d really be that interested in going to GP. Besides, it’s going to be such an odd experience, so different from what you’re used to, that I’m not sure I’d enjoy it anyway.

I wonder how many people will share a similar view; by the time supporters are allowed back it will be nearly 7 months since competitive football; plenty of time to form new habits, appreciate a healthier bank balance and generally just lose interest.

In regards to Non-league: Bottesford are home tomorrow night in the FA cup extra- preliminary.

By far the best podcast with Swann; great job all round.

Good to hear we are now running on a more sustainable model and were set to break even; I agree with him that the new salary cap is unfair and in fact was put in place to stop clubs such as ourselves and bury spending 150% of turnover and wages.

Still not convinced on our transfer committee and I hope it doesn’t hinder his relationship with cox. Additionally his assessment of our squad’s experience was naive, we definitely need some experience.

Overall, Felt more positive about the club’s prospects after listening though.

The fact this week a young player whilst here whom was shown little support by the club management team and fanbase alike has just been sold for 1.5million a year later should be lessons learned for us all.

Hopefully he Was chosen for the position by Cox and not elsewhere. Regardless, he’s the type of person we need at the club, especially with such a young squad.

Really pleased with both managerial appointments; they have persuaded me to purchase a season ticket For next year and I’d presume a few others the same.
