Alcy’s boys?
Speaking of litigation…..
I’ll have you know that both my lads are law abiding young men.
An apology will be accepted.
Sorry alcy, I wasn’t referring to your family, I was jokingly suggesting that you had formed a representative gang to vent your spleen. I’ll get me coat…
Goodison Park, twice.
Moss Lane (Altrincham), twice.Drill Field & Wincham Park (Northwich Victoria), White Hart Lane, Filbert Street, Kingfield Stadium (Woking), Simonside Hill (South Shields) are all correct. Only 17 to go!😀
The prize goes to NI.
Belle Vue is another close one mick but surprisingly we never played them in the Third Division North! In fact we didn’t play them at all until 1966…
Correct again ironick! Are you Huddersfield Town’s John Staff?😀
I agree Matty, the worst thing that could happen is we win a couple of games and hope returns…
I use wet wipes now, Izal would probably put me in hospital! Non football lives…
Alcy’s boys?
All incorrect but excellent guesses as we have played in six competitions on those grounds. Spotland – no FL2, Oakwell – No FLT, Bloomfield Road – no FL3N.
A good article but should have checked his facts re the 2009 play off semi final!
Loftus Road, QPR, Wimbledon and Fulham. As an aside QPR have had more home stadiums than any other league team, from memory I think it’s 14.
Correct TW. It is at least 15, several unknown grounds being used prior to 1896 before the recognised ones since!

April 1950 vs Derby County due to a fire in the main stand at Leeds Road. Huddersfield won the game 2-0
Good knowledge but it was vs Newcastle!
A mere 7 wins would nail it.
I can’t see anything less than 50 points being enough. Hang on a minute, this is a futile argument…
Sorry Mick, I misread it. I can’t find any record of Huddersfield playing a home game(s) at Elland Road ironick. The stadium in question is in London.
Wembley, good shout! I had forgotten that Arsenal had played some ‘home’ Champions League games there. Clapton Orient were the team that played there in the thirties Mick.
I’ll rephrase the question! Which two stadiums have hosted three different clubs’ ‘home’ league games? Selhurst Park is correct for one,
And many HAVE got back up.
We could, but not under the current regime.
12 former League clubs in the National League and nine more in the NL North. Of the last 20 teams relegated from League Two, only five are back in the league. Odds are not good but let’s take heart from Stockport who have been to the depths and are looking good for a return to the promised land after 11 years. Trouble is, our clock is ticking NI…
Language Timothy!
If Chelski are kicked out we would still have to finish 23rd…
Doncaster only got 20 points when they went out of the football league it the late 90s, and had a much worse squad than we have now, and that is hard to believe.
They were a team of YTS kids Mick.
Shouldn’t that be MarinerOily(fish)?

Non football forum in disguise?
Just to put the record straight, my original post was tongue in cheek…
In 2017 Newport County were 11 points adrift after 34 games. They survived. Let’s channel the Welsh Wizards…
Will bpg be ‘giving up’ points?
4 play at home to 7, 5 play at home to 6. Lowest remaining team go to 2, other team goes to 3. Winners play off at Wembley. All one off games. I think. Unfortunately this still gives the Cods a chance. If we get relegated I think we should push for three up, three down, it’s long overdue…
We never believed a word he said from day one.
Really?
Blackpools
The Clash summed it up pretty well I reckon. I’d post a link but I’m not bright enough.
Blackpool’s calling?
