Just to be “politically correct” could you educate me on the correct words to use instead of “ this year ( and over the last few years)there has been an invasion of people illegally entering the country with record numbers being recorded”. The first part , in using “ invasion” as a description of the thousands of people trying to enter our country illegally is certainly acceptable.When the Beatles and other groups went to America it was called the “British invasion”. Now there are not a few groups but thousands of people trying to enter the country illegally you want people to stop using the word “ invasion”. You couldn’t make it up!

The abuse directed at Nuttall reminds me of years gone past.
Brian Laws was abused by so- called fans earlier in his managerial career ( player manager at the time) at a game at Rochdale. Laws gave these yobs a taste of their own medicine and stood up to the abuse. These so called fans never forgot or moved on ( they continued their abuse of Laws even when the golden years were in full flow!)
