7 subs named in every playoff game in the North/South so far.

Is Colchester the English translation for Strasbourg?
Six wins in your last six games is the way to do it. Congratulations to them.
Chester went to KLT today with several youth players in the team including an 18yo goalie and won 3-0. If only we’d done that last week.
But our season has been one long “if only”.
Getting a result at KL was always going to be tough. It was the loss at Radcliffe that did it for us!

Was a decent away performance for a change. We could have scored more, very unlucky hitting the post twice! Saw the game out well if not for a couple of nervy moments.
Players seemed well up for it as well and had a real fighting attitude about them (such a big difference to the KL game) so hopefully they take that going into the playoffs.

Pat, in the interest of everyone on this forum…please do wind your neck in and kindly f*k off. Thanks.

I would definitely buy into a Patreon model for the Trust. I’ve been a member since 2021…that initial tenner couldn’t have gone far over the last 4 years!

April 23, 2025 at 5:33 pm in reply to: Calum Roberts and boardroom news from Michelle’s BBC chat #303224He’s played a whopping 3 games above National League level in his career (on loan at League 2 Colchester in 2019).
Can’t really see League 1/2 clubs coming in for a 28 year old plying his trade in the NLN. He’ll end up in the NL next season but probably not with us.
If we win, Kiddie lose (if they draw we have to win 6-0) and Brackley draw then we’re champions.
That just isn’t going to happen, especially as mentioned above Brackley have Farsley at home (who have lost their last 10 games with a -28 goal difference).

A repeat of last year would be nice at Hereford…we tore them to shreds on the counter that day!
We could win both, Kiddy draw one and we still finish 3rd on goal difference (unless we get a 7 goal swing).
Very likely to given that Hereford, Oxford City and Gloucester (last season) were all in the northern half.
Merthyr Town away will be an interesting fixture as they’ll probably be in the northern half!
Doesn’t help when one of your own players clears one off the line.
You must live a really exciting life if after a game (which you’ve just won to go top of the league), rather than enjoy the rest of the day and celebrate you decide to register to another teams message board to write a pretty pointless post.
Good save from Koughan
It was Carlton. Really hope it wasn’t heading in otherwise what the f*k was he doing!?
They’re just trotting around as if it’s a f*kin friendly…pathetic!
Why didn’t all those season ticket holders spitting their dummies out for not receiving a link just use the general sale link when it was posted at 7pm? I managed to get two tickets at 7:20 so there were clearly still some available!
I managed to get two tickets at 7:20pm. Just sat there refreshing the page until a couple popped up.
We tend to do ok against the better sides in this division…we’ve only lost once so far this season against anyone in the top 8 (won 6, drew 5, lost 1…and that was to a complete fluke of a goal Vs Kiddie away).
Unfortunately I can see us drawing against KL and Hereford, which I highly doubt will be enough for the title.
I was at the Hawthorns that day, was pretty depressing watching those goals fly in.
Koumas not involved but a player of equal legendary status most definitely was…the infamous Tomi Ameobi made an appearance off the bench!

We were neither hard to beat nor fun when James bloody Perch was at the club!

Why would that be an issue yesterday but not against Chester/Southport?
It’s results like today, the loss at Rushall and the bore 0-0 at Oxford that will cost us the title. Can’t see us getting anything away at King’s Lynn or Hereford unless our away performances improve dramatically!
What was the official reason for only being able to pay for season tickets with cash again??

Bad debt on a balance sheet would almost certainly be relating to money we are owed that we now no longer think is retrievable. So, who owes us £250k?
Yeovil’s accounts made grim reading. Lost 2.8 million, kept afloat by owner selling off some of the assets in his portfolio. Owner and his children receiving abuse so is now selling up.
FC100k was a disaster and something we shouldn’t be touching with a barge pole…but something definitely needs changing across football to make clubs more sustainable. Clubs losing multiple millions whilst playing in NLN/S is bonkers!

Keep that goal difference increasing lads!
Jerry showing himself up massively…comes across as a right bitter tw@!

Why do these clowns persist with this?
It’s a lack of brain cells thing.
A glorified friendly not included in that goal tally.
