Worst lge ground I ever been to, based in a park reckon they just embanked it and called it a football ground totally devoid of atmosphere, the kids should really claim it back, the EFL have really set a low base there, makes our tin shed look like the nou camp. Every pub and there were lots of them, away friendly and very busy though we did notice lack of home colours or shirts in them. I am sure there will be worse grounds next year but if the towns are as good as Sutton at least the social side will be good. Because by god the football certainly wasn’t. All the fans on the trains seemed to get on remarkably well no thanks to the EFL fancy having scunny Donny and Hull playing away traveling on the same Trainline? The Newcastle fans are going to be (were) awfully annoying they were giving it large already and they’ve not even won anything yet the young ones very condescending already. 2 Burnley fans were fighting on the train and police were waiting for them at Peterborough to take them away though they did think it was the scunny saga crew who were involved lol.
Do you not think he should have punished them Mick?
Nimmos barbers was always very good used to do a nice razored in parting.
He’s probably in the same place as some of our threads and posts Deerey sadly.
There lieth the problem 2 of them couldn’t be bothered to arrive for training or in Conors case sometimes not at all, no wonder we wenct tits up. But fair play to Alexander he did punish them, even if it did alienate quite a few fans.
Is Mick Dewer still alive I haven’t seen him in yonks, Mick used to do Ukrainian folk dancing, cossack to me and you, wish you and your family and fellow countrymen well.

Stop trying to sanitise football Ironawe, the kids around us 15years ago are now more foul mouthed than most of us will ever be, most get it from home and school not from football. Are you one of those who tell the kids off for singing or banging the tin sheets? I know it happens.

Believe, the scunnys staying up.
No just a different view Ironawe, it would seem I am very much off piste though, where are posters views at on whether the game should have been cancelled like Hasselbaink thought should have happened.
I was in the home end, found it hard to get to my seat some bastard was laid on the floor and had to climb over him, luckily he wasn’t on fire cos Id just had a piss before I went in. The refs watch must have been wrong he took the players off after 4mins and then started again an hour, missed the train home but other than that a pretty mundane night.
It’s not about last night game, Look at the title of the thread, and my first post, where are you seeing this happen outside of football? Rugby, cricket, the cinema, pubs, in shops? I take no pride in having little empathy or filter it has caused me problems all my life especially amongst family and friends I just can’t help it,
I would have been tempted to plant him Ironawe, another reason why I don’t go at home much and deffo not in the east stand, sure your one of the good ones in there though👍
I would expect a delay but 52 mins (it turned out to be) not appropriate, these episodes happen everywhere and always have done, have you seen anywhere else shut down? never mind for so long, wouldn’t it be better to get them to the physio room and work on them there, as for inconvenience I would hate to think that 40/50 fans would have to pay £80/100 to get home from London on the train on Saturday because they missed their booked train if I became ill.
I would take that as a positive at least he was gobbing off against the opposition or the ref, and not one of our own.
Come on! 45 minute hold up at Sunderland last night 35 min stoppage + another 10 min warm up, it’s all getting silly now, get them out and get them to hospital, never used to happen and needs eradicating.

LOL been reported for one of my most innocuous posts ever on this thread, the mind boggles!
Do read the original post Ironawe and my previous one to. And no I don’t agree imagine, dream whatever, us scoring at Bristol rovers to keep us in the lge heaven and earth wouldn’t stop a couple of thousand of us off the pitch.
Rochdale have no authority to ban fans from away grounds, only a court football banning order can, join NLI in the senility club.
I am quite confident that the average home game crowd will go up next season unless we managed to stay in div2.
When our fans got the 3 year ban from all football games a few used to tag along and just stay in the pubs so long as they were a mile away from the ground it was deemed ok, funnily enough that was from a Rochdale away day.
Alcy
Oh yes it was, and still is,
I was highlighting the fact that a lot of posters thought he had some, and their thoughts are shattered I’m afraid. We had the same scenario with Cox posters said if he had owt about him he should walk, when in reality people in them situations can’t afford to walk, same goes for Swann with the ground or the club.
Maybe just maybe if we’re lucky we could avoid relegation if a third world war breaks out, and maybe Swann could build his new ground if we get nuked.
A petition?
No it was Pearson panicking over the Bradford fire, he then went on to build that shed with no infrastructure there, posters talk about Swann promises but he was as bad, where was the new train station at the ground the bus services pubs, the match day experience got half decent when the lads adopted the iron bar if you weren’t in for 11.30 you struggled to get a seat, but that started to die after the Rochdale bans, people getting older, getting married having kids, and nobody replaced them. At least Swann did try to build a new ground but was let down by various party’s and circumstances.
Why peacefully? Man utd, Oldham, Birmingham, Reading, Oldham and Walsall haven’t been peaceful, better not protest at all if thats all people can come up with is singing “we want swanny out we want swanny out” from what folk have said he doesn’t even attend to hear.
Apologies Heath bad manners to not read all the posts properly, I see now you had already posted, sorry.🤔
Thanks apb you seem to agree that Hill isn’t the big man everyone thought he was, and is just happy taking the money not, that I blame him after all he was unemployed so like you say he won’t to rock the boat that’s all I was trying to get across, the removal of Robin’s and Alexander was in the main welcomed by fans, not so much Hurst and he’s the one that’s certainly not overachieving at the moment many want Hurst out. Will think even less of Hill if he waits till he leaves to give Swanny a bad critique.
Need to open telegraph corner again,so home and away fans can concentrate on goading one another, then most of the stewards would be down there.
