Done some more digging and rental agreements can be in writing and or verbal both classed as a legal contract, ours is even in print evening telegraph 23rd April 2021, 999 year protection and we only have to pay rent when we can afford to.

How can you start an MVL when the starting point states the company must have completed its business, (info from the gazette) which would take us back to your number3,

The owner is the owner whether it be Swanny or coolsilk doesn’t really matter which, if the football club is separate to coolsilk and we do go into administration then yes we would have to pay rent, the last we heard on that was no rent till we make a reasonable profit, an agreement must be in place already to protect both parties.

Rules wouldn’t allow the club to be dissolved so number 4 n/a. Liquidation would mean bringing a liquidator, administrator in who would then try and get a deal to sell the club, taking Swann out of the equation losing control of all assets and club bank accounts, far easier to sell it himself and likely to get more for it. So I would say number 3 highly unlikely at the moment. Hope for number 2 but 1 will do for now.

More chance of the present Labour party admitting what a great legacy he left, national Minimum wage, sure start centres, the Belfast agreement, school building programme, the Human rights act, and some will even say rights for gays including the introduction of the civil partnership.

Liverpool fans tolerated 30 years without a league title with good grace lol, At the end of the day no other English team have been great so they have to tolerate it. City are on their way the moment but have doubts whether they will achieve true greatness, you would have been more correct to say man u fans can’t tolerate tip tappie football they want their team to be attack minded something missing since fergie left, many of us just wanted attacking football from Scunny, for me all that’s gone out of the window all I want at the moment is a team to get results enough to keep us in the NL. Bring back Alexander,Boreham reminded me of his early day teams make sure your still in the game at halftime then kick on.

Not much of an update from Lee, take it the takeover is still on till someone says otherwise, wouldn’t have been to much to say if it was progressing or not imo, and just to add to the confusion now Lee refers to our assistant as Nelse, wtf.

Don’t you mean Tony, Nel’s and Paul, lol, big last paragraph from him but why only “try” all 3 should be a given, been told for so long we’re gonna give it a go only to defend for most of the game, here’s hoping.

” How did we vote?” Alcy do you really think you deserve a vote lol, since when have turkey’s had a vote for Xmas come on, take it you don’t belong to any of the associations which put Neil up otherwise you’d be asking them, I don’t belong any so wouldn’t be so presumptuous to expect a vote if that’s the way there committee’s did it.

Why would he liquidate if there are buyers out there, the liquidators would only look to buyers to get the best deal they can for Swann, which probably wouldn’t be as much as if a straight forward purchase was on the cards.

The fan led review which lots still haven’t read, states that opinions on FED’s are mixed amongst supporters groups which gave evidence, also states a FED will also have fiduciary, responsibilities and confidentiality clauses which mean a FD rarely delivers on fan expectations, imo that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have one now we have, always going to be a thankless role, any other suggestions for the role, Staffy, Jerry, SST, or one of our mods or WG maybe?.

I have said all along “unless he can see a deal going through” Deerey I hope this is still the case, I have said deals can take a very long time, but only he and a few others will know if the last one is still a go’er, I believe you know my sentiments behind my posts Deerey, he’s a great guy to talk to and hope what he has said to comes to Fruition for everyone, Happy to wait on the sale but not on the football side so I have voted with my feet, and only want him to walk to show he’s one of us cos he comes across that he is.
