I’m a realist TW not a dreamer, the rail companies didn’t make a profit during covid, but the whole idea is to make a profit else no one would run them. Just take a look at our steelworks made loss after loss under Tata, they sold us for a £1 to Greybull, they made losses and put us into liquidation, the Tory government stepped up and run the company till the Chinese came in all them losses for years and years did the workers still get paid, you bet they did, Aslef need to realize how the government have looked after them negotiate and take a pay rise much in line with others.

Didn’t those said billionaires (the government with taxpayer’s money)keep them in full employment during the 2 years of covid? No furlough for them and the huge pay cut that would have ensued, no let’s wait and abuse our powers and f it up for all them who were on furlough, as much as I am a trade unionist new trade union laws are needed to curb their powers or bring them in line with key workers who aren’t allowed to strike.

Madden’s still doing the business, he was just going through a baron run, could have just rested him. Selling him wasn’t a bad mistake. lol. Thanks for backing me up there Ferrite.

And how many can honestly say they didn’t want rid of Paddy, he’d just gone 16 games without scoring Scunny fans would have wanted rid of Messi going that long without scoring at that moment in time. I could go along and backing the manager on this but then letting Alexander go 81 days later was nonsensical.

Has a jury come to a verdict on Hill’s signings? Up to now I’m fairly underwhelmed does the man not see we need 2 forwards? His January signings probably the worst we’ve ever seen, the jury still out as far as I’m concerned, promising signings up to now let’s hope he can finish the job.

Went on sat Les will go against Yeovil after that I really don’t know possibly more if they do ok more for one of the grandsons than for me I really don’t like the match experience at home in more ways than one, and unless they move the ground it will never get any better for me, since glanny park opened my best season was probably 5 home game’s in a season, so I’m not the right person to be asking about, ask someone who used to go regularly, there are many from what I read on here.

Move on, some haven’t forgiven Ivan Toney for trying to take that penalty that Morris went on to miss.

Could have done a tweet about the friendlys after all we have tweeted more than any other club in the world, and when it’s something important nothing! An Email wouldn’t have gone a miss, it’s the little things that count.

Seems like the sheff u fans didn’t have such a good day after all, only one train made it to Scunthorpe hundreds stuck in Donny and had to wait around for buses to be provided, at least they got them there for kick off, and then of course they saw there team well beaten till we rained the subs. Ticketing still a farce lots of season ticket holders who loaded the game on their tickets the turnstiles wouldn’t admit them and had to queue at the main ticket office to get a paper ticket, still just as bad as the Rowing era.

Friendly or not a wins a win, first win at a game since Grimsby away 2019, very happy with today’s performance goalie very very confident made one greet save, 2 big lads at the back comfortable on the ball played well across the park and the goals were taken well. A yes from me.

We’re looking for ice-cream sellers,Duh you’ve got Angelo’s doing pizza’s on Tues why not ask them to bring some ice cream vans as well, there more known for ice creams than pizza’s. Not optimistic if he can’t ask an Italian do you know anyone who sells ice-cream.
