    I don’t mean to suggest he isn’t intending to run it as a hobby with no interests in running it professionally, but I think his interest in running one comes from an interest in the sport. Whether he’s succeeded in running it professionally is another matter.

    I believe there are rules preventing owners of football clubs also managing the club, can anybody confirm this?

    I have worried about the financial side of the club for ages, we own the ground and the land, but in fact the club probably owes Mr Sqann more than their value, and with the playing squad being worthless, the club is actually bankrupt at the very best.

    That’s the case with most clubs in the football league. Although some don’t have the privilege of owning the ground.

    You are right about a habit of over-promising & under-delivering, much like the current government. It isn’t a great way to inspire the public.
