All they need now is The Flame Haired Sex Goblin himself, Mick Hucknall and it will be the finest line up for many a year !
No, but least he won’t act like such a prat.
Tom Zanetti is the star of that line up and retains his spot after the on pitch fiasco. I hope he’s not as a high as a proverbial kite on the day.
Butler does play the same style, whether that be against the better teams and the poorer teams. Why didn’t he throw Beck on and take A CM off for Fadera and go 4/4/2 ?
We never usually play in a positive manner. As mentioned above, it’s stay solid and see if we can nick a goal here and there.
Whenever we see/hear of turmoil behind the scenes, Sharp always crops up. Also don’t forget that C.E.O Roberts is a mate of Sharp’s. Make of that what you will.

Sharp is no good for the club and neither is his mate, the useless C.E.O Roberts. All the falling-outs which have been going on lately, one name always crops up, A certain Mr Sharp.

Cassidy, no doubt we don’t want another reckless idiot running the club, but Michelle has taken us as far as she can. Michelle has suggested this herself already. If we go up with this present board, we’ll more than likely come straight back down as currently we have no money.
Pretty sure he can’t play against us.
do lines in the Donny Road Bogs
Nothing wrong with being into calligraphy.
It would have come out regardless, I agree. The deal would have more than likely gone through first though. Mr Goat did leak the deal a week or two ago and that’s what started the murmurings. Before The Goat leaked it on twitter everybody “including me” thought it was dead, as stated in the interview with Sharp and co.
I suspect this has everything to do with him leaking their deal with FC100000. No doubt if it wasn’t for him leaking it first, Aidan McCartney wouldn’t have got wind of it and he wouldn’t have gone sniffing around.
In my opinion they are pissed off because the deal collapsed and Mr Goat played a huge part in it. I know Michelle and co saved the club, but as everyday passes I find my self liking them less and less.
I wonder whether the Smoking Goat fella’s out pouring of information about the FC100000 deal pissed those off behind the scenes and as a result they’ve axed him ?
If it wasn’t for him and then McCartney that questionable deal would have been pushed through. The supposedly transparent board would have quite happily signed off on that without a single fan knowing.

Campbell pulled off some good saves.
MOTM IMHO
Looks a decent enough keeper in all fairness. Great shot stopper.
The mistake from Abraham was ridiculous, especially as Starbuck played a perfectly hit back pass to him, but as he went to trap the ball he completely missed it. Boyce looked a bit shaky too.
Campbell pulled off some good saves.
With Wondergoals. I have issues with the club statement 1/ It says “they put it out to see what fans thought of it” – they did not Aidan McCartney big fan got wind of something and put it out there . 2/ No deal had been agreed yet a video announcing it had been filmed ! 3/ Why was there so many NDA’s if we had nothing to hide and ‘only’ in discussion. 5/ Seems a different meaning you hear it was a possible new investor but the nab from My Club or FCa100000 said they were looking for club Acquisition. There is a big difference in the 2 words INVESTOR and ACQUISITION.
The response put up on the official site is bullshit. They all know who they were dealing with and was after pushing through the deal on the quiet. Aidan McCartney said himself the deal was very close to being signed. There was a video stating that a deal was made and their announcement so it was clearly close.
If McCartney hadn’t had leaked it on twitter the deal would have been signed. 100%. We all had no idea as it was clearly done in the background.
So much for the club being transparent. Shameful really. That official statement in my opinion is a load of tosh.
The board need singling out for nearly signing off on a deal behind all our backs without letting us know. This hasn’t sat well at all with people.
Well done Michelle – listening to the fans. Dodged another ‘character’
Michelle was part of the board who negotiated behind all of our backs with a questionable 5th owner and was on the verge or signing a deal.
Michelle shouldn’t be celebrated/patted on the back, she and the other members shouldn’t have got as far as they did with the deal without letting us all know first.
I find it very underhanded and extremely snide. Ian Sharp was on a podcast not that long ago and claimed the deal was pretty much dead in the water.
The longer these lot at board level are in charge the more I question if they’re really up to fit. As time passes they appear more and more incompetent.
This isn’t even factoring the fact they made a huge balls us by not purchasing after care on the pitch and just about wrecked it as a result. Why they decided to penny pinch on the playing surface without looking in to it first was stupid to say the least.
I’m forever grateful that they saved us, but can we really trust these lot in looking after the club on pushing us on long term ?

No need to. HMS Marginally Win The League is on course.

March 24, 2025 at 1:04 pm in reply to: The Board: “We’ve made some mistakes, and we’ll probably make some more” #300437What was this FC100000 deal ?. I’m clearly out of the loop.
Looked like David O’Leary.
Loan has expired and hes gone back to Tamworth ..
I hope we get somebody else in on loan. To be fair, he looked a bit portly.
Desperately need Whitehall and Beestin back. If Wreh is injured, he needs to get himself back to at least offer a different option.
Waxing lyrical about an overhit cross. The commentator was an embarrassment.
Mo is one of the only other players in this squad who’s capable of pulling something out of the bag and yet he’s on the bench. Carlton was pretty poor and yet kept him on.
I was confused to say the least. Why take Beck off and put Boyce up top for the last 10 minutes ?. That made no sense whatsoever.

Same here, only ever paid for a weekly pass so must be carrying over from last Tuesday.
Same with mine. I didn’t pay for lasts nights match either. Mine must have carried over too. Those commentators for Kiddy annoyed the crap out of me.
Why were they making out the strike was a worldie and their player was the second coming of David Beckham when it was clearly a fluke cross ?. A goal is a goal, but if anything it was a crap cross because it was overhit and definitely accidental.
Those two prats last night were not only monotone and extremely boring, they we’re disillusional. Thank god that game carried over and didn’t have to pay, I felt like punching my monitor.
Couple those two idiots with the crap performance and Butler back to being the Butler of old, it made for a very frustrating night.
Thing is when Beestin and Whitehall are out our only real creative player is Roberts, so if he’s off colour or marked out of it we’re completely screwed.
When we have Whitehall and Beestin the opposition have a lot more to stop. Roberts has not been at it lately which makes matters worse.
Butler last night reverted back to the old Butler. Beck is limited but least he won everything in the air and caused them trouble, yet takes him off and sticks Boyce up there. Carlton was pretty poor and yet never brought on Mo to freshen it up.
Butler never changed it either, he could have quite easily have gone two up top and partnered Beestin with Beck and brought Fadera on out wide and have him and roberts out wide.
Completely clueless last night and seemed to freeze under the pressure.
We need Beestin and Whitehall back A.S.A.P
Awful performance really besides two moments of quality. I found it a satisfying watch though because it showed that whatever Butler has done, it’s culminated in us being battled hardened and not too dissimilar to how Tamworth played/looked last season.
Evans has helped no end and has come back like a man possessed. Luck’s going our way too because Denton really should have been sent off for the tug back as he was last man.
Kidderminster and Chester games will be the meaningful tests, if we come out with even 4 points it will be a good amount.
Whitehall is expected to be back against Chester. Wreh will be ok for Saturday, as will Beestin. Butler said he nearly made it last night, but still felt it a little when kicking the ball.
Wreh is suffering from muscle stiffness “fatigue”.
Who’s worse, Obama who got caused more debt than any other president in recent times. A half dead president in Joe Biden who caused no end of damage and under his stewardship pissed away “money laundered” trillions of dollars through USAID or a questionable Trump “who appears confrontational” who has a questionable history himself ?
Say what you want about Trump, but least he’s trying to end the war in Ukraine. Golden boy Zelensky was posing for photoshoots for vogue and forbes magazine while his supposed beloved men were getting shot to bits on the battlefield.
Putin is a vile little pillock, but the signed NATO agreement has been walked back countless times in terms of the NATO boundaries and has basically been used as a poking stick to antagonize Russia for the last 20 odd years. This war between Ukraine and russia was always going to happen.
If I was America I’d pull out of NATO and leave europe to sort themselves out. All a shit show.
I read he had a lot of goal involvements/goals when playing for them “Tamworth” last season. Wreh really impressed for them last season. Great signing at this level and could very well push us over the line.
