Imps have wealthy US backers and are likely going up this year for their first ever Championship season. Possible move to new ground too.

They didn’t win at Rochdale NI they won at Accrington.

..and the most pedantic post of the year goes too……….

The most pedantic post goes to…

    Me now.

Sorry couldn’t resist. I needed to correct that as Lesgeo would be onto you like a grammar rocket.

I read this with interest but didn’t post a link or comment due to potential litigation …. think it said he’d gambled circa 20 million. Any type of addiction is ruinous. Did this contribute to the financial situation at all his interests at the time?

Pedestrian from the start, apart from 15-20 minutes at the start of the second half.
It would seem the squad is not as strong as AB thinks.
Sadly Carlton has found his level in NLN, Chadwick and Eze are still looking for theirs but it isn’t NL. Would have preferred to see Brogan in front of both. Whitehall seems to have lost interest, is he 100%?
A pattern in recent weeks and hitting the target again a problem, how many saves did their keeper make? Let’s hope this proves to be a badly needed wake up call, I reckon we were lucky it wasn’t 6-0 ( 8-0 if they’d got 2 pens which looked possible) Desperately disappointing and not what the travelling fans deserved.

I was just about to book a Cornish hotel for the end of January !

What’s this lagging bollocks when the main camera is on? Shite DAZN! And how difficult can it be to pronounce Ewing correctly? Ffs

Think it was Earring, Irving or something today definitely not Ewing, Bobby, JR or anything like.

it will keep the United fans off here for a day or two, also they will have to concentrate on European glory now, but did they qualify

    Are there any on here?
I reckon any decent fan will hate them more now ,giving the Cod filth something to Crow about

Good post this Phil and you are exactly right. Some movement is coached, some is natural. It certainly needs working on as missed flick ons make the greater look poor when it’s clearly not completely their fault

    Ramon Nunez? Only 39

With a few exceptions the video clips of training are from the waist down. Does that mean there are “triallists” that might be recognisable or that somebody we’d like to be there (Maxi) isn’t? Or both.

Glyn has been taking the photos so all shots at waist height are at his head height!

    From the Bolton News:-
“Bolton Wanderers to loan out Dubem Eze to Scunthorpe United
Eze has been pictured in first team training at Scunthorpe, who beat Chester to gain promotion in the National League North play-off final in May
The midfielder has opted to play for Nigeria and reports there claim he has agreed a season-long loan deal.”

Does that mean he’ll be away during the African nations or am I over predicting his level?!

That’s good news for him and the club, sounds very encouraging. Whatever anyone’s thoughts are on the management team, they appear to have fostered a really positive dressing room atmosphere

Stefan mols, curzon ,midfielder looked a class act when he played against us at the attis.

Good shout but lives near Clitheroe. Not sure of our budget but could we attract players who would need to relocate (Whitehall) or would we need to stick to best players in the region released by league clubs or up and coming in the leagues below. We’ll be able to tell when the first couple of signings are made

1 nil palace who delivered their game plan. Henderson lucky to stay on the pitch but goes on to save a penalty and dedicate the win to his late father who he lost at the start of the season. Nice story and good win.

The water behind him in the picture appears to be three feet high and rising.

Whoever sorted the pitch deserves a big shout out. I thought Kelly looked a bit shaky today but they did well and onto the final, Whitehall back and Carlton looking confident bodes well.
