Agreed. He could have been some player, reminded me of Lee Hodges

Does anyone actually know the full story of what happened at Gainsborough when Mr Swann was there?? Did he find a buyer and hold out for an over the market price offer or did he make a loss? Could be an indication of what might happen as there appear to be parallels

Good interview from Tony. Nice to actually understand what the gaffer is talking about and how they’re approaching the match. Also comforting to know he’s speaking directly to Lee. Best of luck to the Tony, Michael, Paul and the team going forward. UTI

I really wanted Andy Flounders to come in as his right hand man.

I’ve often found locum Doctors to be better than surgery / practice Doctors.

Perhaps a small ‘bank’ of locum football managers is needed who can swoop in and takeover when the need arises?
Blather and the ‘old boys’ and the tired old ‘same faces’ network doesn’t work.

Don’t think even Roy Keane or Roy of the Rovers would get a tune out of this team

Awful. Simply awful. I listened to the managers pre match interview on Hullberside and just couldn’t fathom the BS.

I think it’s completely unrealistic to expect Nigel Adkins to return whoever becomes the new owner.

Would be great if the takeover gets completed at any point soon…. But in the meantime it might be an idea to exercise a little caution with written words regarding the current owner to avoid any legal issues. UTI.

I agree, I think Tom offers some intelligent insight and is much better than other expert summarisers, you can also tell he’s a teacher… Something studious about him.

I do miss George though and hope he finds better health.

Always amusing to read badapples tweets about the telegraph.

Lots of typos and irrelevant stories so I don’t read anything they write, certainly doesn’t have the towns best interests at heart… No loss to the club but its good they tried to engage and then published the attempt to show fans.

I personally don’t like to see a big lad / target man moving into the channels, but although he’s a reasonable size his game isn’t like a Steve Torpey so he’s probably been told to use the channels and make space for a strike partner or midfielder coming through. Glad the majority are backing him, hopefully if everyone has a sense of togetherness then the club won’t stay out of the EFL for too long.

I would think in those trialists he will have a couple of possibles. Also would not be surprised if a keeper was being kept secret. Unless of course wonder boy has been in training !!

Mr Fenty and Mr Allam are both reportedly interested, very experienced in business and football club ownership.

Agree.. Now at his level to build upon.. Has talent, needs to be nurtured. SUFC used to be the place for that, don’t think that happens any more.

With his absence record what the hell were we doing even offering something else !

Tom Pugh released shows that Mr Hill is not the right man.

I agree, I found that decision disappointing. He added a bit of bite and passion.

Loved Cleveland and Beags but you could never beat Wayne Bullimore playing through the thirds and dictating the tempo.

We need to sort out the final third – we remain clueless in the final third – just no clue what to do.
I noticed when we stole the ball in midfield,
being 1-0 down and we just stopped. No movement no forward momentum they just had no idea.
Need Paul Hayes in to sort out the attack because Hill hasn’t a clue about attacking football

Is that as in sack Hill and bring Hayes in as manager, or add him to the coaching staff? Doesn’t Daws with the senior squad to provide attack coaching or does his role only involve the youth team?
