I don’t think he would play because of Covid fears a few weeks ago.

after the Harrogate and Orient wins people were saying the same. if we get up the league all well and good but just remember 2 or 3 defeats and we are back down there again.
was not impressed with the second half tactics at all, luckily we defended well but if they scored one I don’t think we would have hung on.
Porter is starting for Crewe tonight at Gillingham.
No rumours on Crewe forum.
Some good performances today which makes a change for a local derby.
Loft, Eisa and Gillihead outstanding, Karacan, Beestin and Orinaise not far behind and the rest played well also, this makes a change and I hope we don’t let it go to waste on Tuesday, so go and enjoy yourselves for our first Saturday win for 7 weeks.Someone said that the other week when we had a win, it doesn’t work that way very often.
That must be the answer, they must impress the Chairman on the Golf Course.
I will watch because I am a season ticket holder, but am not paying anymore tenners until we start to improve and play entertaining football.
Won’t they play Hippolyte up front, supposed to have played well at Walsall.
To help towards the debts.
We will be very cautious on Saturday not wanting to lose, so we will have to see what happens next.
I listened to 45 minutes last night before I lost the feed, but have listened to it all this morning and though I didn’t agree with everything he said he still had the guts to come out here and be interviewed, he had some valid points about it being difficult playing without spectators etc, but I didn’t completely agree about the summer recruitment, though he did say Lee Turnbull had no input with the signings just like Lee told me a few weeks ago, because Lee told me he wouldn’t have signed over half of them, at least we can’t get much worse and hopefully with a fit KVV and possibly another striker we can get away from the bottom 4 or 5 of the league.
January 16, 2021 at 11:32 am in reply to: I wonder what Bradford fans will be spouting tonight #200953definitely, the roads around the stadium could be gritted so anyone involved in the game could get there safely, it would also help the residents around that area.
Andy Keogh wasn’t a bad loan, nor was Murray Wallace, yet Jacob Murphy Newcastle first team player and Joe Lolley Forest regular hardly started any games.
What about Bedeau Burny.
Iron legend.
January 14, 2021 at 10:49 am in reply to: At what point do we consider the manager is the problem? #200833I had seen every home league game at Glanford Park since the ground was built up to the start of this season, only missing Southend in the FA Cup 5 years ago with sickness bug a few hours after I had been and bought a ticket at GP on the Friday, and a Micky Mouse Trophy game with Morecambe because of Fog where I live and 11 years ago a League Cup game against Oldham and Lincs Cup game v Lincoln because I had a wrist operation and wasn’t allowed to drive, but the way the club has gone downhill over the last 3 seasons and performances on the pitch this season I don’t really care if I don’t go again.
He was out injured, but whether he is fit now I don’t know.
didn’t Neil mention something about watching Villa play Liverpool and maybe presumed we were after one of those Villa youngsters being a former team.
January 12, 2021 at 10:11 pm in reply to: At what point do we consider the manager is the problem? #200739You can blame the manager for tactics and selecting players, but you can’t blame the manager for blatant defensive errors.
You don’t win football games if you don’t make the keeper make a serious save, our home record is appalling and technically we didn’t have a bad side out tonight, but still managed to throw it away against a team who were not the best team we have played.
Clarke didn’t make sure Henderson wasn’t going to win the ball, but Howard shouldn’t have come out, another calamitous goal conceded, when will it end and we wouldn’t have scored if we played until tomorrow.
unless we start to try to win games we are going down, and another home defeat.Maybe expecting loads of Iron and Cod fans getting drunk in the pubs and fighting outside the ground, but……
Nigel Adkins opinion of Jem in a reply to me on Twitter “ Jem is a fantastic character, a real wholehearted team player. Obviously he’s not played for a while however when he played for me at Reading he was tenacious in the tackle, would run non stop and is a good passer of the ball.” so let’s give the lad a chance and not judge him on a couple of games.
And a glass of Port while wearing a Vale Les.
a good listen the interview with Mike White, it was Mark Howard who brought him to the club after talks with Neil, and talks very highly of Nigel Adkins from his time at Reading.
I looked on their forum and someone said the same sanfran, not been given a chance, he looked impressive when he came here with Cambridge last season if I remember right.
A bit harsh over one pass, the pass by number 44 that led to the second goal was worse, also he put in a good forward pass in that clip as well.
