I think he said he wants three more.
Matt Dean has just tweeted me and said before the interview started he asked him who trialist B was, and Neil said “ Alex Perry has come into the building….” which everyone knows, so he presumed he was B, but Matt said he never mentioned which was A, B or C, but I have seen pictures and a YouTube interview with Perry and unless it is a complete fluke that lad looked like number 4, number 8 looked like a teenager but I would be happy signing all 3 trialists because there is some talent there, also was really impressed with Callum Wilson on the wing, this lad is little but he ran rings round there defence and he is ours.
I know Matt Dean said trialist B was Perry, but where does he say which one is Perry on the interview Burny.
Most optimistic thread I’ve read in 3 years on here.
Good to hear the positive reports though and fills me with some confidence going into the Swindon game.
it hasn’t been hijacked with Covid yet.
possibly a few in our stand from the East one yesterday, I saw plenty of people I knew.
I don’t know whether it is him Tonka, but I have looked at a picture of him and he looks similar.
I read the other day we had a lad from WBA on trial with a double barrel name but couldn’t remember it.
I think number 4 looked more like Perry looking at a picture of him in his Wigan strip, I know Cox likes him and said today he isn’t fully fit yet.
Trialist A must be signed – preferably today!
Classy; vision; leadership qualities; great passer and reader of the game.Didn’t see enough of trialist C to judge but there were certainly positives.
Everything Trialist B did well – Trialist A did better. Too many errors in B’s game but there were positives too.
Kenyon slower than expected but did the simple things well.
Davis looks our best CB – ahead of Taft based on not a lot of minutes watching.
Liked Thompson and O’ Neill.
Now firmly believe we can aim for lower mid-table.
Best of all – in a hard game by ‘friendly’ standards we rarely gifted possession – a critical thing to be remedied after last season.
Players worked for each other. Smile.disagree there Les, and quite a few others agree that trialist B (number 8) up to the substitutions was probably the best player on the pitch on our side, I was impressed with all three trialists and the young winger ran them ragged at times, our football was more pleasant on the eye to watch and I have no complaints with any performances and we certainly didn’t deserve to lose though it was a cracking strike, I am more optimistic than a fortnight ago that we can’t hold our own in this division.

I’ve just asked Matt Dean and he said he will ask Neal after the game, and he has written it down, even if they don’t want to name the two who had it they could name those in isolation
I don’t know why but something inside is screaming George Miller…..
Bunn looks a good acquisition
funny thing I thought he looks like George Miller, but he’s 6’1″ so apart from Bunn all our signings are over 6 feet, so no excuse for us being bullied very often, let’s give the lad a fair crack of the whip and playing 2 up top is a must.

Another big lad by the look at the picture of him at the side of Cox.
It went all up in the Air after that.
The difference is Perry played 17 games in League 1 last season when some of our signings last season were from tier 8 or 9

Alex Perry 17 games for Wigan last season is supposed to be on trial with us as well, was he involved.
Hull are splitting there first team squad into two plus youth or reserves according to United Twitter site, with one half v Iron and the other Mansfield, a bit surprised at 500 Hull fans seeing the Mansfield game is at Hull.
I think looking by the pictures the kit looks OK, and I like the away kit.
I did more or less straight away, nothing for me on there.
There was talk on Twitter a couple of weeks ago a striker from Cheltenham was training with us but can’t remember the name, but he could be one sent packing.
Lot of those games are streamed on YouTube Mick, looks like you watch the whole game here:
[/quote]just watched the Hampshire innings it was fantastic, especially with knowing the result.

He was out, just unlucky the fielder hadn’t knocked both bails off with his leg, then I think he would have had to pull a stump out.
I was following Hampshire v Glamorgan on ESPNCRICINFO and would have loved to have seen the Hampshire innings, 18 fours and 12 sixes scoring 187 in 13 overs to qualify to the quarterfinals of the Blast, they needed to do it in 14 overs, but Livingstone is one big hitter and unlucky with the runout.
I bet it was hot though, both games have been good.
somebody on Twitter said a former director had recently died without naming him, so possibly.
there is more posts on the trialists thread than this one.
Are you on the right thread for the Covid NI.
Thompson is another 6 footer as well.
I can’t believe this thread, it’s supposed to be about trialist’s going back but half of it is about the Covid and vaccines, to make it funnier the next thread is about the Covid.
