We seem to have decided it’s time to let the manager choose his own players…
The decision makers at this club are absolutely unbelievable
I could be wrong and this is just my opinion, but…
What it actually looks like…
*Allow/encourage all the assets to leave!
*Rip out all the money from the budget (obviously due to Covid we had ‘no choice’)
*leave the manager with a load of crap *And then put the recruitment in his court
Absolutely outstanding 👏
Cox May look back at this and learn a lesson or ten!!
Makes total sense to me.
When you have money it’s a lot easier to cherry pick players like Toney, Madden, Townsend, Wallace, Yates, Holmes, Morris etc and be confident that they will hit the ground running.
When you don’t have money you need the manager to have a lot more say so that he can build a team of characters that will form a tight bond and run through brick walls for each other. Think Morecambe.

Surely this paragraph applies when there is money to spend unless you have no confidence in your manager spending the money on the right players, which beggars the question why employ him in the first place, he clearly must be the wrong choice if that’s how your logic works🤔
Obvious innit?
Last year or so Swann blamed Covid.
This next year he’ll blame Cox.
Because surely we all know by now that it’s never Swann’s fault?
I think I preferred the club been run as someone’s hobby.
The one thing we will find out is whether Neil has got, friends and contacts in the game. But the same also applies to Lillis and McMahon, of course.
Bunn – Lillis presumably. BTW – is a certain son not OOC?
What I do not get is Tunan. Has there been a problem now resolved – in part, at least?
If that is not the case – surely, it was in the interests of everyone for him to be paid off.
who Marks lad, I think he signed a new contract at Barrow a few weeks ago.
