And now the gap is 8 points? UTBI!
A non league journey man who couldn’t get into our academy years ago. The thing is, we are in a position now where he could prove to be useful. If he really can play all those positions, he would be a good option on the bench.
I just hope young Jimmy hasn’t promised him much in the way of being in our first eleven.
So Tamworth were 40/1 at the start of the season. Even the bookmakers had no clue. Hindsight would be such a wonderful thing, aye…
Semis at Wembley? lol my bad.
He still got em there…
Old ‘Bobbins.’
A sin bin would be a great way of punishing players for diving, blatantly trying to get others sent off, and abusing referees. Maybe other things like kicking the ball away when a free kick is awarded and instead of booking players for over exuberant goal celebrations. Could really benefit football, by stopping unnecessary bookings.

I think most people have accepted the fact that Tamworth will be Champions.
A lot of people are now fearful of our chances of promotion through the play-offs. Is it currently a 50:50 split?
I think that Jimbob will be here until the end of the season.
I hope that he isn’t given a contract extension.
Torpey for manager?
Harsley for manager?
Butler for manager?
Butterfield for player manager?
Expenditure needs to be less than income.
Ambition requires tethering to the ledger and balance sheet.
I’d rather have a tent on terra firma than an air castle.I’d love to see Torps as manager, with an experienced assistant. Definitely not Butterfield as player manager though. As long as he is able to play, he should remain a player. The Iron are too keen on sacking managers. Don’t want them sacking our manager and best player in one fell swoop!
It is the mark of a good team, if they play a poor game but still win. My glass is still half full.

I got a lookalike in Brighton, sick of getting the blame for all the bad things he does.
Agh, just looked it up. lol.

Shame it’s not run by the club though.
Have the Iron got a walking football team? Apparently there is a lot of money to be made by letting a load of old gits dodder all over the pitch, and it can get competitive.
Just a thought. UTBI
Mussolini couldn’t get the trains to run at all, let alone on time. People have been saying he did for so long, they have forgotten that it is bullshit.
Conspiracy theorists? lol
I remember going to The Hawthorns in 1984, the next round of the FA Cup after we knocked Leeds out in a second replay. THAT 1 -0 defeat was definitely a fix I tell ya! We all stopped behind after the match to tell them so.
Oh dear. Did you not like my post.
WHAT A PITY!
This is very sad news. Without a great many people putting their hands in their pockets, this could well have been us…
I didn’t take a lot of convincing, that is true. But the fact is, they won’t even be put on trial. That is because of the success that they bought and paid for, illegally imo. Surely if they are genuine, they will face the rest of English football and prove themselves innocent? Otherwise it is easy to conclude that they are guilty, if nothing else than having too much to hide.
It was in that shite paper so had to hold my nose and read it. But there can be no denying the facts. We were on the brink of becoming dead in the water.
Michelle and her consortium saved us, and this time it is for real!

They should deal with city in the same way thaf the SFA dealt with Glasgow Rangers. They took years to get back to the SPL. Put City into the EFL L2 with a points deduction. All of their players will leave, including the women and the youth.
Make a proper example of them.
Agh well, they lost 1 – 3 against a vastly superior league two side, but it could have been worse. They did well to be in a third round replay. They knocked Reading out, lol.
Never mind…

As a glass half full guy, I’m happy that we are in the mix for winning the league we are in, let alone favourites. It has been a long time coming.
The last few seasons have seen us flapping about in the relegation places without a clue how to win a match, let alone climb the table.
Next weeks match against Tamworth will be what is commonly known as a six pointer. But it will not decide anything, as there will still be more matches that we can win.
Buckle up guys, this will be exiting!

For once I agree with the op. VAR is ruining the game in the top flight. It is getting worse, who knows where it will end.
I got the email. As previously stated, it was a no brainer. Yes..

Just keep backing Scunny to win one nil. They will probably keep doing it!

A real character RIP.
It’s been a long time since I even looked at that Facebook page. When I did join I thought it was the official club Facebook page. But giving the devil his dues, I learned the truth about Hilton a lot sooner than I would have had I not joined.
November 9, 2023 at 7:45 pm in reply to: 14/09/23 – County Court Judgement – £2,091.00 – Case No. 434MC529 #276563I didn’t think we were allowed to drag up threads that were as old and redundant as this. My fault for not paying attention.
Doh!
So is this match going to be televised? Ifso where? I can’t find it on search…
November 7, 2023 at 3:12 pm in reply to: 14/09/23 – County Court Judgement – £2,091.00 – Case No. 434MC529 #276413It’s not as if it can’t be paid, a couple of grand. Our new board should just pay up and forget it.
We have more important things to worry about…
The Sex Pistols could come back with Sid on bass. Trouble with that is that he couldn’t play for toffee.
So they would have to have Sid on the vid, with the audio by Glenn Matlock.
After the dross of last season, we should be proud of how our team have started this one. Who would not have taken 7 points and 13 goals in 3 games?
It’s hardly the end of the world imho.
