I am going to be optimistic. We lost a few players at the end of last season and I thought we might well be in trouble this season. However, we have had a few positive signings and we have goalscorers – an absolute necessity at all levels.

So I predict a 1-0 win for the Iron.

Finally got my ticket. Can’t see much difference between the two systems. But at least it is up and running.

On the fanbase site it tells me that tickets are not available yet for our first home league game if the season. This is only 9 days away!!

I wrote to SUFC a few days ago about this. They have yet to reply.

What is really shocking is that the vast majority of the (crap) designs are not even the correct colours!!

I didn’t want AB.

He surprised me when we started the season so well. I was shocked when we started going backwards but, as previously mentioned, we started playing too defensively – not surprising as we never really had the players to play as wing backs (Barcelona we ain’t!).

He changed the system, and although we played some dire defensive football at times, he got us over the line – although it would have been nice to have gone up as Champions (and better for my blood pressure too).

He has shown that he does know what he is doing. I just hope he can do so at a higher level.

He will have my full support in the coming season.

Some of us tried to warn them, but they have not taken any notice, so they will get whatever they deserve.

I don’t think people have enough information to slam the Club for affecting the team.

We very nearly went out of existence, and we desperately need to get things right off the field. I believe that the people on power are doing their best to ensure that we are still around for the future. It may not all be popular or even wanted, but they need to consider every opportunity to improve the position of our Club.

AB, in my opinion, should never have been appointed. He has done a decent job, but his stubbornness has cost us dearly. We may still go up and he may take us to the next level, but it would have been a lot easier with someone decent & experienced at the helm.

I hope he continues to improve with his tactics and his attitude, but I am still far from convinced that he is the right man for the job.
