Our government trades with both Saudi Arabia and Qatar whilst protesting verbally to them about the same points and more discussed above, so we as a country employ double standards when it comes to points of principle. I don’t see why an individual should be pilloried over making money when our government sets a similar example.

JI I have agreed Farage was treated badly and the Nat West CEO resigning was also correct but enough is enough on this one, measures are being put in place to address any issues like this are jumped on straight away in the future but Farage will keep going complaining he wants more resignations as long as he can keep his name in the news. Just for balance, he supported a baker for refusing to make a wedding cake requested by a gay couple because he was a Christian who didn’t approve of gay marriage, double standards?. Both instances were wrong but it appears balance isn’t an issue for some.

That Forest fire rings a bell Bobby from my Goal magazine as a youngster ( probably around 1970 ). Goal had run a division one, as it was then, preview of the coming Saturdays fixtures and one headline was ” Leeds ready to set fire to Forest “, the following week they reported on the Forest stand fire and quoted the irony of their previous week’s headline.
