If only there was a journalist who could ask the council if they ever agreed to fund the new stadium,
and then pulled out of funding the new stadium.

Could possibly add a few football club owners to that list.

The common lump is out of control, powerful men – most with an over inflated ego and not limited by their inabilities. History is littered with them, and I predict the future will be too.

For the sake of balance, some women could also be added to the list, though more alpha males have sexual explotation added to their “character “.

“To lump Peterson with Galloway or Musk with Tate I find revealing and disturbing.”

And Brand, and Johnson, and Trump, and Caligula. There is a lump!

Would you accept the lump of self-serving, exploiting alpha males?

Lots of lengthy debate on this topic about political “worldviews”, perspectives that I am sure the majority of women are not having.

Brand’s behaviour and attitude towards women was bad. He knew and revelled in this. Part of the act.

Brand’s behaviour and attitude towards women was unacceptable. Most women would agree with this. Brand knew this, part of the act.

The question surely is was Brand a rapist? Did he break the law? Looks like he probably was and did. Only bit I agree with JI, if there is evidence it should be tested in court.

Sorry if my opinion is not deep enough.

I agree with my old mate BS on this.

The club’s future needs to be secured by reaching agreement to buy the stadium and the land. If Hilton has the money as he says he has, then get on with it and buy the stadium. If he hasn’t got the money, then it seems inevitable to me that he will have to leave.

“God made the clearest revelation of his character by coming to the earth to be reviled, humiliated and killed ..and then showed the shallowness even of death itself by resurrection. It happened to me just after University some 47 years ago”.

You were resurrected? Better cancel Easter then.

Did hear some bod questioning whether the 30 year serviceable life was real. Wrong product, wrong application. Firms no longer in existence.

Have they checked the “concrete” steps at Glanford Park? Under greater stress than usual with all those goals going in.

The sad irony is that they still call it the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and the Communities.

More like the Department for Sick Jokes, Unhousing, Child Poverty and you will be lucky if you find anywhere that doesn’t bankrupt you.

The answer according to Sunak is more unaffordable houses in Cambridge.

It would be better for all if BPG stopped trying to convert a group of obvious non-believers to his “worldview”.

Worldview is a word I only ever encounter on this forum.

“even better to consider your limitations and mortality and examine again the claims of Christ”.

I’ll give that a miss if you don’t mind.

Social media has created a nation of “experts” who know absolutely everything about everything and are happy to spread their “knowledge” across the world. AI will make this even worse.

Many examples through history and in current times of Christians assuming they have God’s given rights to decide who has the right to exist.
