“He is a prime candidate for a kicking.”
You have confirmed the point he was making in the video. If anyone needs a kicking it’s the knobheads (“working class Brits” as you call them) who decided the final was a great event to cause trouble.
Any chances of the real Brits enjoying another World Cup in this country in 1930 have been ruined by their actions.
Working class patriots? Nah. Effing dickheads!!! Round them up and prosecute them.
But did he choose the wrong penalty takers? Penalty record of the players:
Taken more than 10:
Kane 47/55 – 85%
Rashford 17/19 – 89%
Sancho – 11/12 – 92%So that’s 3 chosen.
Taken 5-10:
Sterling 4/9 – 44%
Maguire 4/8 – 50%Maguire possible makes 4, Sterling not likely.
The rest:
Sakha 2/3 – 67%
Phillips 2/3 – 67%
Grealish 2/2 – 100%
Pickford, Shaw, Stones 1/1 – 100%Southgate said the choices were based on practice. The evidence says he got it wrong because 3 missed, but so did Italy’s top penalty taker.
Based on records Kane, Rashford and Sancho were right, Maguire based on character. 2 out of these 4 missed leaves one other choice. He chose Sakha – he missed, I would have chosen Grealish or Phillips.
Alcy, thanks for pointing out my typo. Getting confused about Bobby Stiles and Nobby Moore!!
Watched them all. The first 3 not much recollection, the last 3 very memorable.
Argentina for Rattin
Portugal for Eusebio and Banks
The final, Weber last minute equaliser, Alan Ball played well, the 2 Hurst goals in extra time and Bobby Stiles celebrating.Correct, but you never miss making a puerile and pointless trolling comment. Not got some shit to shovel today?
“For god’s sake Patel is Bame and knows herself about racial abuse”.
Does that give her a free pass to make comments without being challenged?
Of course black footballers have got every right to defend themselves against racist abuse AND challenge hypocrisy from senior politicians.
You and others are bending over backwards to have a go at the players. You are even defending Patel rather than Mings (or Ming’s as you call him).
The players are wrong when they miss a penalty, wrong when they challenge politicians, wrong when they don’t walk off the pitch, wrong because they support a Marxist organisation, wrong because they lost, wrong because they get involved in campaigns, wrong because they don’t get involved in campaigns, wrong because they earn too much and share it, wrong when they do share it, wrong for taking the knee.
It’s quite simple. Let’s see action to tackle racism, stop the politicians dog whistling, stop their fake support of the team and actually do something.
“If they really want to do good then put some funding together and go into these communities and physically do something”.
What a bit like Rashford has done, and Sterling?
Of course some dickhead on here and a Tory MP would rather he practised penalties (as if he doesn’t) than organise food for children.
And with your continued failure to accept the players words and explanations you are acting as an apologist for far right racists!!
Bit ironic that you were getting a bit Mr Uppity about being misquoted whilst you fail to accept the word of the players.
“But nothing to do with the fear BJ highlighted”.
The fact that you can’t relate to the fear says everything.
Come on England!!!!!!
In the year to the end of March 2020, 58,856 cases of rape were recorded by police forces in England and Wales.
These led to just 2,102 prosecutions, compared with 3,043 in the previous 12 months.
THIS is the fear you should be concerned about, rather than condoning the hate speak of Big Job.
This may be of interest to someone. A friend of mine has 2 tickets for the Final at Wembley on Sunday.
He paid £300 each including accommodation but he didn’t realise when he bought them that it was going to be the same day as his wedding!
If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place!!
It’s at Central London Registry Office, at 4pm. The bride’s name is Lisa.
You do realise that we win the Euros on Sunday, the Scots will declare themselves as joint champions because we didn’t beat them.
“One MIGHT jump to the conclusion” that you are the most miserable man on the planet. But no need to jump very far, because I had alreay reached that conclusion…
Woe, woe and thrice woe is me!
“Wow, so many things you got wrong!”
What are you BG, a school teacher marking the “patriotic marxists” homework!
Never been more happy in my life to be proved wrong, though in my defence the comments were made after an unconvincing win against the Czechs, a dire performance against the Scots, and over 50 years of failure!
Still one game to go, but so far so very good. Rice has shown over the last 2 games why he is in the side, Walker was brilliant as the last man at the back when the Danes came forward, and Kane last night was the full Premier League version!

“The England manager and his players champion an inclusive form of patriotism as opposed to the xenophobic nationalism of the reactionary right”.
The team are a great example of the best of English and have my full patriotic support, NO questions asked!!
Yet our supposed right wing so called patriots challenge their actions, are not giving 100% support, picking fault with some of the born in England black players and some even wanting them to lose!!

Pleasure to watch and every single player including subs contributed. I’ve watched England fail from 1970 onwards, usually fading away in the second half. This team has great fitness and energy and got stronger as the game went on. Apologies to Rice, I now see his value to the team.

“Though many can see through the tricks of the libtards to normalise sodomy!”
Not many libtards in private schools and in the Tory party, where sodomy is rife. Lot’s of rumours about a senior Tory Minister who definitely is not a Libtard.
He who shouts the loudest has something to hide Big Job.
The players have explained their actions on multiple occasions. Is it too much to ask supporters to respect their wishes and their right to make a gesture against racism?
Find it a bit of a joke that I’m being accused of being a bigot by a bunch of racist bigots!
BIGOT – a person who is obstinately or unreasonably attached to a belief, opinion, or faction, especially one who is prejudiced against or antagonistic towards a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular group.
“don’t let a few small-minded bigots destroy the good image of the city”The accusation of being a bigot was directed at me. I am not a bigot, and with great respect to you I don’t need to learn what one is and the difference between a racist and a bigot. We have some on here who tick both boxes!!
“But would you have said if they was? No you wouldn’t would you”.
Of course I would if I didn’t agree with them!!
It’s bound to be one-sided because “supporters” keep booing and ignoring the will of their own players. I wait for 5 seconds and the match kicks off. Not difficult is it to respect the wishes of our own players is it?
Seems to me that everyone is demanding to have an opinion without criticism. The only ones that aren’t, according to Mr Charles, BS and others, is the players.
JI and BPG are not Muslims and my comments were based on many posts from them on this forum. I recommend you do the same before accusing me of being a bigot. Look in the mirror and read your own posts, you will find how better to spot one.
I suspect that his Christian faith is on similar lines to those of BPG. They only apply to a chosen few.
Interested why JI keeps coming back to a forum to not make his point, other than the point that he has made many times before that the forum is too toxic for his delicte tastes to share his point.
Fair enough JI, hopefully you won’t feel the need to make the same non point in the future. I fully understand your position and right to not share your point, as I’m sure others do.
Thanks anyway for your valued input. Not one naughty word, so I hope you will approve, but your not going to let me know your point of view. No problem!
BS must have missed Kane’s dive for the free kick. Wonder why?
Instead of kicking off at Karacan he should be calling out and sacking some of the couldn’t be arsed group.

If it was as described by Karacan, under normal employment law there would be grounds for dismissal of the rotten cohort. Trouble is the squad size would be down to about 5 or 6 for the new season.
“I’m reading between the lines here WG but it would seem most of the assholes are still here”.
It was a bit frustrating that players weren’t named. He did say that a lot of the non-league signings were happy just to be at the club, but didn’t have the right attitude to become FL players. If that’s the case then you are right MK, they are still here.
He seemed to exclude the older pros and the players that joined during the season his mate the goalie, Brown and Kev.
Excellent interview and thanks to Karacan for giving straight answers. Sounded like he would stay if Swann came back in with a suitable offer.
“Dont you you get fed up of calling people racists because they gave a different veiw of life to you?”
And aren’t you getting fed up of getting so irate about footballers kneeling down for no more than 5 seconds. As IA has said, they have given the reasons they are doing it multiple times.
So I direct your question back at you. What gives you the right to question the actions of the players who have a different view of life to you?
What sort of Christian are you? I don’t see much care and respect for your fellow man and footballers who are also Christians.
Why do you give more credence to the views of self promoting racist idiots like Fox and ignore a simple request or gesture fronm players like Sterling who is asking people to stop directing vile abuse at him? Not too much to ask is it?
FFS – how difficult is that to understand?
