Scrimshaw for me looked quite threatening and takes him off, you could tell the Barrow defenders were worried about him running in behind and yet takes him off.
If that’s Scrimshaw looking “quite threatening”, I wouldn’t like to see him on a bad day. Like an Aldi own brand version of Chris Dagnall.
Bucks, I’m simply not buying that . When Covid struck in March 2020, we were already back in the fourth division and struggling. From memory, our last game of the 19/20 season was a desperate home defeat to Grimsby.
Hurst had already been sacked at that point. We already had a weakened squad. Swann himself said last year that “Our budget is now a third of what it was two years ago.”
I don’t doubt that Covid has hit Swann’s other businesses and particularly affected his cashflow. But I do not agree with your assertion.

The worst squad in the league gets a draw away from home and this is sackable?
I,d Knight him for that.
I can understand why some might want him to go due to many poor results but for this one is hysteriaIt’s possible that there could be *two* problems with the club….
Presumably Awaywego you think Rory Watson should take the blame for that result and performance last night?
Last night was unbelievably negative, inexcusably so. We barely tried to hold the ball at all beyond around the 15th minute, choosing instead to sit back deeper and deeper. Barrow had little to offer but we gave them all the space they needed. You could argue Pugh was a bit unlucky to concede the penalty but if you spend the entire game playing in your own penalty area you always run the risk that a little mistake can be very costly.
Bringing Jarvis on made sense but why ask him to pay right wing?
Make no mistake, that was no points dropped last night, no excuse for it.

We obviously needed some experts from the north bank TW!
Using the tractor definitely helped the protest, made for a much more shareable image.

Given Davis’ injury, it’s more likely this might happen now.
Oh for the dissent? Good point. Maybe he just enjoyed such a spectacular bounce of the ball!
Agreed Ferrite Howard wasn’t all that, but he did average 1.27 points per game for us, Rory averaged .5 last season and .58 this season if we carry on with that average we will only amass 27 points, his best average was 1 point per game in 5 games which is still not deemed enough to stay up, Sorry but Rory just isn’t good enough.
That’s a bizarre way of looking at things, as if Watson is the only player on the pitch.
I don’t believe that the ref booked him, either.
Looking at it repeatedly, I think Rowe *may* have just touched the ball but tackling from that angle, touching the ball doesn’t really matter.
I wouldn’t blame Rowe though, he had to try something there. For me, it’s another example of how slow Onarise is when turned.
Interesting to read several people on here saying they didn’t think the penalty was the correct decision. It’s hard to tell on the TV coverage but it didn’t look an outrageous call from that angle. I loved Watson slamming the ball into the ground in frustration though!
Or Mark Howard.
Why are you obsessed about a poor keeper who cost us several games last season – a season when we barely escaped relegation?
It may well be indicative of a change of heart but that statement still comes across as quite self-centred – I would have liked to hear more about the impact of the club management on other people.

Yeah, England are terrible, they haven’t reach a final in nearly FOUR MONTHS. Disgraceful.

One last thing, when you have thrown enough fuel on the fire you will be even more gutted when you realise you’ve helped contribute to the destruction of the club without a plan b in sight.
Um, if you think the club is in a good state at the moment, I’ve got some bad news for you.

No need to excuse yourself SanFran, the club is not entitled to our money, pure & simple.
Can’t run the club with fewer than 3,000/home game?
18 Scunthorpe United 2,745 – 24th
19 Barrow 2,643 – 11th
20 Colchester United 2,583 – 20th
21 Forest Green Rovers 2,445 – 1st
22 Crawley Town 2,160 – 9th
23 Salford City 2,041 – 17th
24 Harrogate Town 2,027 – 2ndI know Salford & Forest Green are subsidised but how are Crawley & Barrow achieving such sorcery of being any good on such small crowds?

But the ground ownership is the least of the clubs problems right now. Most of the 92 top level clubs have ground owned by and subject to the whims of their current ownership be they Arab nation states, Russian oligarchs or local businessmen .
Two things here:
1) It just shows how important reform & proper regulation is for the game in this country.
2) Just because something’s shit elsewhere doesn’t mean we want the same shit here.
Entirely predictable responses from the usual suspects. I’m not going to apologise for calling out the moaners and groaners. If all you ever do is moan and groan about anything and everything, as a number on this board have done since the days of Wharton then why should anyone take you seriously.
Hi Bucks, as judge & jury of what is acceptable and not when it comes to backing the owner, could you let us all know exactly how much we should put up with until we no longer back the owner?
Thanks in advance.

Remember when we were down in this position in 2004? There was nothing like the same degree of discontent or unrest among the supporters.
I don’t really care about which division we play in, like you say there are ups & downs and it’s all part of the ride. What I care about is the completely broken situation we have at the club now.
Ok and do you all expect him to keep covering losses while you lot hurt dogs abuse at him and his family?
What losses? I thought we were sustainable now?
Out of interest UTI99, what has Mr Swann done in the last 8-9 years to earn your support & admiration? What achievements can you point to?
Almost? I’m not sure our cause can get much more lost.

He won’t jump without a pay off which means we won’t ever get to the truth, as usual.
Would you?
“It’s all gone quiet over there!”
If we miss the first 15 minutes we will be missing 2 or 3 goals
Win-win?
If you still want to go to the home games but also want to make a point, how about staying outside for the first 5/10/15 minutes? Kicking off in an almost empty ground would make a pretty strong statement.

All good ideas in my opinion, would be good to hear some of them put forward at the shareholders’ meeting.

Les, do Forest Green have 700 fans? Could be quite a bit less than that I reckon.

Glad to hear that about Brigg, they’ve dropped a couple of division in recent years, I was worried they were struggling long-term.
Well said Bucks, reminds me of the regretful words of more than a few leave-voters in recent months. Happy to have you on our side of the fence now, hopefully we can make a difference.
