yes
I took the trouble to find out,
A the trust cannot condonme law breaking,so siding with pitch invasion is not an option.
They also understand fans feeling so are not willing to demonise tham , it;s the devil and deep blue sea .I am just a member so can say I support protests .
This Olly has clearly not told the whole tone of the conversation, but I bet he knows that the trust will be asking the club to tone down their rhetoric aimed at protesters ,but that doesn’t get you riled up to say that so he omitted it no doubt. I think he’s a shit stirrer probably after a job in a tabloid.
His one tweet has done a lot of damage to the trust that is struggling to keep to it legal obligations while hating Swann.
PS who got your precious corner opened? look what happened thereI doubt he said that,
I notice that the text above is not from the trust it’s a copy and paste . I’d say Olly Turner has just put the juicy bit to cause trouble and the bit about making a statement and opinion after meeting the club is left out .if you were there you must have seen it
I doubt that will be the outcome, fans are divided as to whether the protests do more harm than good .If the whole fan base is divided then it follows that the trust membership is. They definitely do not support Swann ,this is clearly an issue that they cannot win on
I do find it funny that people who abused me no too long ago for warning about this outcome are now all over it moaning about people not protesting how the want them to.
swann has stopped talking to the trust and frozen them out in the past and they have had a few run ins with him ,sometimes face to face, not shouting from a stadium terrace.
Running around the pitch after the Horse has bolted won’t solve much but you have to admire the passion.
people like awaywego seem to want to criticise anyone if it takes away from his support of “Swanny”1 user thanked author for this post.
can you call it a peaceful protest when punches were raining down on stewards at the beginning?
Its to stop the original application running out apparently, just a formality

stewards wwre as half arsed as the demonstrators, it was a perfect metaphor for the whole afternoon

“from twitter!”?
Don’t be ridiculous.if your favourite supermarket doens’t pay it’s paye do you pay it? It’s a private business that plays on loyalty when it wants it .We’ve been told we’re not needed so paying for their mistakes is not on
As the Americans say, no taxation without representation and any trust led has to involve a quid pro quo.2 users thanked author for this post.
yeah but only the trust get flak.
This is odd ,if I am reading it right,it’s for an 11k stadium? Its not our” tax bill at all .Neither you or I own any part of SUFC.

We shouldn’t pay their tax bill for nothing in return
Good to see the trust getting it out nationally

There you go Kitchener, get on with it

I will ,later tonight ,look into it because I foresee tax difficulties in giving to companies.Certainly bailing out swann not on .I’d say handing any money directly to any takeover is a non starter so that leaves the Trust and it would look odd to say the least, for them to benefit from their own GoFund meLots of peole making suggestions for others to action is typical Scunthorpe fans.Just do it if that’s what you want to see happening.

No,its a limited company, only the company has liability. This is basic business practise to protect owners from personal liability

“The argument I used to get from the leave brigade was that it would force manufacturers to source materials from British companies, thereby boosting our own economy rather than Europe’s.”
More to ad regarding DFS,the frames are made abroad and the materials imported too, deliveries have become a problem so staff are set idle waiting for frames so they can sew the suites and cover them.
They are,in thus case, setting up a factory now to build, not sure yet who’ll man itit’s a sign of the times that he got kicked out for questioning the government and not dishonest intentions in parliament

Being wrong is not playing fast and loose with the truth,it’s just being wrong. It’s not an accusation of anything I was making ,just pointing out how inflation and monetary value has changed over the years .I will correct myself and will state that we had or were reputed to have a £600k excess from the sale of OSG after the build
Hardly worthy of your snotty reply,no need to be so touchy,we all make mistakes, look at you, never been right!that facebook page is a joke, it’s full of lies and unfettered libel most days with little or no moderation for long periods. For a couple of days there as even Swann’s house and address posted with people being encouraged to go there, the guy you eulogise was openly bragging about having Swann’s phone number and harassing him .
This isn’t how people behavewe built GP for that and had some spare change to help out for a few years
who is that?
Doesn’t effect us
!a nod is as good as a wink to a blind bat ” and a good libel lawyer . you don’t have to state anything and you know that
let’s not accuse or suggest anyone is breaking rules with no proof chaps,
They did well to keep going as we had moron fans saying we don’t need”only clubs in trouble need a trust” or want a trust ,a chairman who was openly hostile .Now we have the same fans fans expecting them to be a powerful force . It’s been proven now that we as fans have to back a trust and make it a genuinely powerful organisatio ,the usual apathy of iron fans made them what they are .
They got a fan on the board which was a major coup with this owner who stated that fans bring no money tot he board.Even though he was a bit of a patsy in some eyes it’s a good thing that we may need to battle hard to get ever again.the amount of coverage in the right wing press,Express Mail and Sun this gets running parallel with their stories saying he should shut up and go away is funny. Hilarious to se the Sun headline today, everyone doing the Brothers fighting angle ,the Sun “Harry did coke” lol
Be in a very wealthy area and save up for the fall.
‘can’t understand why people don’t give him more credit.’
