I would think that the stadium, car parks and the training pitch with its land surrounds is probably worth a total of probably about £15 million, but with Peter having the club and its fans interest at heart, has very much reduced its sale price because he wants the best possible deal for any new ownewrs and all the clubs supporters, I was talking to UpTheIron99 the other day, and he has the same feelings.
Just for the record, are there any Scunny fans or ex-fans that actually believe that the sale will ever go through??????????????????????????????????????????, next thing is for the club announcement that the deal has fallen through, same as I have predicted all season, and sadly my record of predictions is very good.
Just looked on the Happy Clapper Facebook group, no concerns on there they’re just trying to flog stuff to each other now.
Won’t hear anything until other side of Christmas unless Ollie Turner prods for a bit more.
As expected off – not much football played this weekend i’d think
When Saturday Comes!
Oh dear.
I’d line up in a 2-5-4 formation.
2 keepers
5 defenders
4 midfieldersHursty Football!
Talking sense IA. I don’t blame him one bit for looking after his interests … nor the club for making the best of it.
Strange how(and the player)can go from turning down an offer to leaving suddenly…
Nice one, too cold to be at a game the night.
They don’t own the club yet and Joe got a better offer. Next.
The club he turned down a couple of months back?
Well i’ve got a lift on Tuesday so will be at the Woking game. i look forward to being dissapointed and Padraig Amond gets himself sent off.
Thanks Deery. Not very enlightening as to the how to and how much.
Still we are only supporters.
So long as the Hollywood stars are happy.
Seems to have killed the BT highlights show which i was enjoying.
As well as a new manager and coach, a new look board and some new faces around the club would be a positive in selling the club back to the Town and Community.
Making Jerry pay to get in would be worth a season ticket.
Keith Curle’s Mansfield is the example i use. they were winning 4-2 or losing 5-3 and his view was we’re having a go and entertaining the supporters.
And we had Mick Buxton Total Football.
Did ok at Northern Ireland? 6 wins in 28 matches. Why did they sack him?
He didn’t have a great squad to pick from, a lot of the 2016 squad have retired or about to. also the IFA getting him to pick 18 and 19 year old Premier League youngsters to stop them going to ROI, and the inconsistency you get.
Seems to be the go to man when teams are cutting costs – Us, Motherwell. i wouldn’t have sacked him but some of the fans want O’Neill back, or worse, Healy.
Did alright considering who he had to follow and having the team sold from under him.
But the moaners got on his back and we got the grim Knill years after.

New owners, new start, still fans having a go at each other.
Julie will be ranting if there’s not 9,000 there tommorow
I can’t get any Chips at half time. Sort it Sharp and Elliott!

i’ll believe it when it changes hands. The “we needed to get the wages paid” makes me think they wanted/needed to get a big crowd in for the Notts County game on Saturday.
But if true, great. looking forward to standing on the Donny Road again. Still expecting to be in the Conference North, but you sometimes have to fall back to push forward.

It will be watered down in the Iron Bar a bit more.
To say what?
The Fish and Chips was nice in the Restaurant this week
Cheers Tony, on a hiding to nothing.
They’re hoping it puts a few more on the gate for the County match.1 user thanked author for this post.
The London group are now in a 28 day exclusivity period to try and get a deal over the line.
Unsure when it ends but presumably it is before the end of the month.
I understand they were involved in a lower league club in Belgium for a short stint…Sounds like we dodged a bullet here.
Just a pity that the fans have given you a free ride to do this by just accepting anything you have done, and even still travel to watch the shite they serve up.
Big crowd next week too, 2,200 Notts fans along with about the same number of ours. Kerching.
I note that all the players sold over the one million mark were all when the club were under the ownership of the man who allegedly ran the club as more of a hobby by the current owner. Things change overtime but facts are a constant reminder to everyone who believes we were worse off under the previous owner and we were also a football league club. As for Hurst and his ability to develop a player of a certain value, that is pure speculation and as always dependent on the resources available within the club at the time, he’s certainly getting a good fee from Luton for McAtee pro rata the value of most league two players.
250k a good fee?
It is the job no one wants whilst Swann is around, so it would be career suicide for anyone at the minute even if it gets sanctioned by the board.
Dawsy will be there until he throws in the towel himself. Hardly going to walk away when he’s got no expectations from above.
Sharp £1.6m (Forte’s value unknown)
Paterson £1.3m
Hooper £1.75m as you mentioned. And more recent but significant fees:
Wallace £750,000
Townsend £500,000Could you see Hurst developing a player that could command a fee like that? unless they are a Defender, me neither.
Now you are now missing the point CMC by digressing, Hurst would have kept us in the football league and the replies to your dismissal of his abilities have pointed to the reason why he should have been retained as a manager. The rot set in when Hurst left and the owner decided not to fund the club anymore to the level that would have kept us as a league club with a decent manager in charge.
The Cost cutting started when Hurst was appointed, he had quality left in Colcough and Van Veen but because they wouldn’t run like greyhounds on a dirt track he wasn’t interested. More interested in playing his hoofball rubbish with 10 Cloggers whilst mid table League 2 sides, who could play a bit, cut us apart.
As mentioned he couldn’t keep them up, even when he had the budget to do so.
I guess this is what lowering your expectations is about, The Manchild wouldn’t accept his role here and went up the road, he took them up single handed almost with a few others, and they’ve sold him on, for about a third of his real value, and you’re looking at them at something we should aspire to.
We were selling players for a million not long ago, never mind a quarter of a million quid!
Yeovil are bad, but not as bad as us..only one that’s possible..
Will the managers office be repainted in yellow so when Robert walks in Daws can announce, ” Lemon entry my dear Watson ”
You’re simply the zest!
Well there’s some on here with a Bitter taste after the sacking of the Poison Dwarf.
Just shows nobody likes Crusaders.
We wouldn’t be in the national league if Hurst was in charge that’s for sure
If we’d not sacked McCall we would still be in League 1, how far back do you want to go?
“Sacked and rightly so.”
I don’t think so!! Brought in some good players.
The Headless Chicken Songo’o and the perma-crock Nthle? Abo Eisa was a gem before he threw his toys out of the pram.
