You can get to Scarborough on the bus from Scunny, might take about 3-4 hrs though and it’ll cost you nothing
Living The Dream!
Every home game, one Fan gets to experience match day up close and personal as if he’s a player.
Report at the same time as the players.
Pre-match meal.
Change in to SUFC kit in the dressing room with the players.
Take part in or be around the warm up (where applicable… not including technical drills)
Pre-game managers talk / instructions.
Run / walk out with players.
Seat on the bench for the game.
Dressing room for half time managers debrief and instructions.
Back out with players – seat on bench.
Managers post-match debrief in changing room.
Change back in to civvies.
Post match meal in restaurant.Cost: £1,000
Season income = £23,000 plus Cup games.
Some might say that this is too ‘intrusive’ and would be a hindrance on match days.
Ranting & raving and ‘information’ can be heard being transmitted from the dug outs in every game – what we never see or hear is the private discussions in the changing room.A pre-event meeting between the Fan and the Club Secretary could be used to discuss the day and a code of conduct and other guidelines to be reviewed and agreed to.
What an experience!
The closest you’ll ever get to ‘living the dream’You want me to pay a grand to spend all that time with Dean??
Pay a grand to ensure he stops in pboro today and doesn’t come back…
Jerry wants everyone to give Stu a pound for a negative comment, you can tell he’s not a real supporter and sits in the exec seats in his blazer.
First half in the Donny road would clear the debt if everyone paid up.Stu will be in tears this morning at the news Klopp is going
Pompey away, got to London when we heard it was off. Went for a few beers.
Yeovil away, was sat on the train at Waterloo when called off… both about 10.30ishI’d been at work in the morning and not heard the Hereford home game was called off
Got to Berkeley Circle saw people coming back saying it was offOld joke was Steven Gerrard is fouled in the box and Grimsby suffers a minor earthquake as all the armchair reds there leap up in disgust.

Well I now know a caffe mocha costs £3.84 at Starbucks, a flat white £3.55 at Costa a medium milkshake at McDonald’s £1.59 and another liverpool fan has made a donation, thanks Stuart now do one I really wanted to know how much the large milkshake costs you muppet. And stuff singing “you’ll never walk alone”where the sun don’t shine.just saying.
I might watch this, sounds hilariously bad
Shouldn’t it be other way round us helping the people of Liverpool ffs. Maybe the trust could donate to a Liverpool food bank next time.
Doncaster?
Newton Aycliffe played tonight ffs!

I see this strange one is rubbing it in. A history of trying to wind up supporters of most clubs. Very odd indeed
And Aidan Wilkinson Jr is gobbling off on the same platform – is he still involved with the club?
Crazy!
Some of the other North East clubs called off much earlier
I have to laugh, “Raising money to clear the debts that Bonnie and Clyde mounted up”
The same people you endorsed Stuart?
He’s had his meeting with the Chairwoman. So he’ll be happy.
The other one, is it win tickets for the Rushall game AWG? if i get to that, i’ll just pay on the turnstile thanks..Darlo have been poor all season, but the old cliche “Can they do it on a wet tuesday night” applies to the team and manager.
Being optimistic…0-2

Still, if he gets into the boardroom ahead of Barley and Smithson that’ll be a laugh.
Danny Stamp has surely sorted him free tickets.

Wasn’t he injured for much of the time he was with us? An early Jordan Hallam.
Yes, part time football seems to suit him better as he was a goal machine at Stamford
Grimsby Borough v North Ferriby 1030 pitch inspection
Lots of games being called off early tommorow, when you think about it Tamworth and their fans will have to cancel coaches they’ve a better chance of getting their money back today so the coaches can be used tommorow and if somehow we get a free Saturday for the replay the money will hopefully flow again
Fourth Nuneaton Club to go under I read. They’ll probably come back at a level they can afford.
Good read and shows how hard Michelle is working to turn things round.
Next season things will be better off the pitch… hopefully

To get the non playing payroll higher than the players again?
A good accountant, probably necessary after the state your Ilkeston buddy’s big pal left the club’s finances in.
The Irony of one of Hilton’s biggest cheerleaders liking the post.

It’s unfair to single out Iron-Awe. He seems fully aware of the issue now and realises the error of judgement. It’s not like Awaywego, who’s still trying to praise the charlatan who tried to kill the club for personal gain.
No it is.
The desire to become part of a clique, just like the three wise men over the way, nearly killed the club. You think the likes of them get a free pass? No chance.
Thank God for Hilton at the time, wouldn’t have the players we have and wouldn’t have Smoking goat doing the catering (big shout for pat there said it needed new blood) Michelle saying the debt was only £1.2 million what’s the big deal that’s the minimum everyone was expecting Swanny to have left us with was it not.
Smoking goat is too much… Pats bacon cob with tea or coffee for two quid more like it… anyone still got his number?

Some of this stuff about Dean resembles ” Graham Alexander Complex “, careful what you wish for.
In Alexander’s best season we got 36 away points, are we likely to match that.
Pretty sure many wouldn’t welcome back Hurst. I really don’t think binning off Dean at this point in the season is wise.
Hurst brought in a load of Dross and put his best attacking players – Colclough and Van Veen – on the bench.
The only manager in 30+years i’ve celebrated being sacked, yes sacked.
I warned them lot up the road giving him a big budget, they wouldn’t listen and what happened.
Cox and Hill got a fraction of Hurst’s budget so no wonder they floundered.
The damage is already done under Dean’s reign.2 users thanked author for this post.
No length of contract has ever been mentioned.
Edit: Telegraph reckons it finishes end of this season
