Brian Laws? Is it the same Brian Laws who in nearly ten seasons gave us teams that scored nearly 400 home league goals, and made us the envy of every other small club in the country?

The truth about man’s condition can be found in Ephesians chapter 2 v1:3.
“As for you,you were dead in your transgressions and sins,in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air,the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. All of us also lived among them at one time ,gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts, like the rest we were by nature deserving of wrath.”

As JI rightly stated,” I’m surprised that you think that Bill hasn’t pulled back.”
I have ,a lot of it has to do with my regret for posting personal issues on this forum. I still read the different topics with interest, and the same when I posted regularly, they certainly reflect a person’s character. Dinner offer still stands.

Gurnelista, your “superior” intelligence shines through in your posts. The will of the “inferior” Brexit rabble must have really hurt.

When you start off with the words excellent Clunan ,Les,we start to differ in our views. Right from the start I have never seen anything in Clunan to give him an excellent category slot. Great schoolboy spirit and effort ,but when it comes to strength and leadership he is sadly lacking. Take “lower league” generals we’ve had in the past ( Bishop and Dawson for example),Clunan is not in the same realm.

I meant in my garden,Siderite. Another bird that would be a regular visitor was the coal tit, that too seems to have disappeared.

I put sunflower hearts in a bird feeder and on a bird table every day. They attract a numerous variety of birds. On two occasions at my present bungalow I have seen two charms of goldfinch arrive ( at least 40 in the flock.) It was a great thrill to see after years of feeding every day. Usually see about 8-10 each day in a group,Love having a variety of birds visiting each day.

Do I post these posts to have a gotcha moment (as Siderite suggests)? Far from it ,I do it to make people think ,and hopefully in their quiet moments will reach out and ask for repentance and mercy. God is rich in mercy,to those who ask for the unbelievable gift of saving Grace.

The most evil act in history was the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on the Cross. The perpetrators were doing it for evil,God was doing it for good. The substitutionary atonement of Christ,to save people from alienation from our Creator was the most Glorious act to show his Glory ,and we are forever thankful.
