Doubt whether Mansfield would let him come here to sit on the bench, don’t forget Foster is a future England goalie, how could Hill play some young lad from national lge north in front of some young lad with league experience?.
Grow a sense of humour Mick.
Which year are you thinking of?
We’re did you get that info from Bob?
Bury and Macclesfield were supposedly to have died but look at them now, Oldham to boot, Andy Burnham leading a task force to buy the ground back trying to raise the £6 million it will take. Shouldn’t we be looking at the same I’m sure there’s local business men who could get it started.

It was an article in today’s Portsmouth newspaper Deerey, fanbanter web site had paddy on £3500 a week in an article 4th Jan 2022. He doesn’t need any luck Renee when the tooth fairy has given him £750,000 over the next 3 years, hardly deserves it he’s never scored 20 goals in a season up to now. But I do wish him well, he was one of our own.

Certainly was different world Ironawe, just the football alone divs 1,2,3,4 the Fa cup that was respected by everyone no penalty shoot outs, replays no matter how many, and the only live game on TV. Very rarely were there any all ticket games so you could go anywhere in the country and normally get in. No sanitised all seater stadiums,ah well.
It was Hill who started playing so many youngsters his choice not ours and it bloody failed miserably, you get medals when you achieve something, I’d be quite willing to give him a medal for being the worst manager ever up to date and with the longest run without a win, he gets paid and probably the highest paid on Scunnys books. If Swanny isn’t backing him he could always walk, but then again we’re would you go from here? I do hope he turns it round and while he’s manager before every game i will be behind him and the team, if it then pans out we’re putting in performances like last season I will turn against him and his team during the game. If he achieves Mid table next year I will be happy, not to much to ask IMO
Of course yag house cheers Deerey.

Correct me if I’m wrong but was there a big building across donny rd which housed a YMCA, whatever it was never went in it.
Cigarette, milk, chocolate, chewing gum machines everywhere, (never seem to get broke in) Linc’s roadcar buses to away matches, the royal for Barnsley bitter, the paper advertising boards advertising the next Scunny v whoever, The ABC on Donny road. Who was an ABC minor?.
Ford popular 100E for me. Could fit 5 adults and 3 kids comfortably, well sort of.
No sad loss he hardly kept them fit the last couple of seasons.
I see (no pun intended) England lost another euro semi on penalties.
Isn’t one of our ex physio’s still unemployed? Who needs ******** we’ve got no it physio.
Interesting Deerey! From not watching the game on June the 4th and not been interested in the competition so obviously you couldn’t answer a question on it, you’ve now seem to be watching and showing a keen interest, Mmmm high price of food at the cods “I’ve been to a few games in non lge where I’ve paid high prices” Mmmmm most Man utd fans hate Liverpool ” I’ve got Friends in Manchester who I’ve been talking to, season ticket holders you know not plastic fans and they don’t agree” Mmmm not saying your making things up, but you are making things up aren’t you?.
I imagine Swann mortgaged the ground so it would be easier to liquidate the ground if there are other creditors to pay, than not.
Why is it when Swann or a manager says something it’s a promise and yet others can get away with intention?. I thought Swanny was the owner when it came to all things Scunthorpe.

Pot kettle black comes to mind Cass, non football closed to new topics and replies Cass, didn’t you know that. Was promised to reopen several months ago, guess it’s a Scunny thing.

Absolutely nothing in the Scunny telegraph about Grimsby, are you buying the Grimsby edition?.
Contrary to other posts the season starts on 6th August fixtures announced 6th July.
Who?
Not if he wants away.
Walsall who got new owners this week had been in negotiations for over a year, did Walsall tell their supporters about the interest or what was happening down the line. NO they waited till the deal was done.
Just take a look at Derby they went into administration in September so are definitely up for sale, every man and his dog want to own them, 9 months down the road and they are still not sold maybe today maybe not, Newcastle and Hull took years to sell, why do you think we will be any quicker? End of the day money talks if someone wants Scunny and they’ve got the readies Swanny will sell it to them, one needs to be a little patience.

Oldham signed a 38 year old forward who did play for them before in 2007, so NI is probably right with the thirty year olds, a good balance would be nice.
The player of the season awards mean nothing Watson won nearly all ours and yet we still released him, Democracy there’s a fine thing, the Brexit vote, Scottish independence, come to mind.
Boycey was Eastleigh player of the season, but I suppose that counts for nothing Watson was voted ours.
Agree Pat on the pitch, but as a player signing for the club to me I can only think of Beagrie.
