(I also believe that one of the three remaining “reps” has only attended one home game this season, so I am not sure how they keep abreast of supporter views?)

If this is true them I am puzzled as to how this person was selected to represent fans. Unless, of course, he/she goes to all the away games and presents the views of travelling fans.

Health warning. This is hearsay, but I have heard it from several sources.

All 3 seem to attend the committee meetings and the meeting with the club, also all attended the Vof meet at the Southend match.

Ryan the most visible one attends most games home and away taken Jerry’s role over on the coach unless he’s on the train with us.
So even if one of them doesn’t attend many games does it really matter if he or she is putting the work in on fans behalf, there’s an vof email address for fans who’d like something addressing.
And at the same time they like to go and watch the actual game itself though I’m sure you’ll always have their ear.
Nothing to see for your sources SA.

Okay, even if we accept that your point (which I don’t btw), what about contributing to the costs of Ross Barrows’ post surgery rehabilitation as well as leading the support for the Iron Bru initiated fundraising at what was a parlous time in the club’s history? Others will be able remind us of past contributions, but it hasn’t all been in return for shares-for which the club still receives a tidy cash injection.

    Agreed.

I don’t quite recall the Trust “leading the support for the Iron Bru initiated fundraising at what was a parlous time in the club’s history”, though. What I recall is Bru and Iron Hour teaming up to push it.

Maybe just maybe the trust were busy stopping Swanny selling up the ground by applying a community asset to it, giving time for new owner to come in.

No other group than the trust was allowed to do it even though they had no money to buy the ground.
All very nice helping pay the players and it was a nice gesture by one and all, but without the ground we were no more.
Paying players in full during the furlough, while everyone else was on 60% of their wages cost the club dearly with the EFL loan Swanny took out, so let’s have the priorities right.
The trust did what was necessary at the time and we should be thankfully for that.

I agree that we should be thankful.

This month’s update imo is within the realms of what to expect from them, few different initiatives brought forward.
Maybe on reading, the fund raising group could maybe take on the fanzone area instead of the club, better chance of regular donations rather than for the pounds for pitch which within reason as died a death.

Not read it. Seems little point reading and commenting on anything club related that’s not showering of praise. Someone somewhere will find a way of labelling it Bru hate.

And I thought I had bad attitude.
These are initiatives been brought up by your average fan, just someone who would like an idea taken forward. No names no hassle.
Where Bru would and will come into it (from me at least) is where the club don’t keep to what they said they will do.
Someone had suggested a women’s team the club and fair enough from the club they considered it but they’re not taking it forward at the moment but will be kept under review, no fluff just an open and honest reply.
No one’s slagged the other unity group’s more than me, but I still throw positive suggestions at them.
If they want to label it as bru hate so be it we’re not bothered are we?
