    Yeah, IFA. Looking likely.
I’ve heard this too but dunno if yours is the same SM source I got from a third party this morning.

Beck not in the picture? Still injured, retired or moved?

Be interested to learn the reason of his omission from the image…maybe at the docs.

Or round at Renes’ “having a word!!”

A banjo can be a useful blunt instrument :)

I hope he’s on the look out for a new club. Terrible signing by Butler.

We now have too many strikers. We could ask a modest fee for him. I think that he is unlikely to start – or even to feature – in very many games with us at this level.
He is not the awful player that some have suggested on here. Just another square peg in a round hole.
I wish him well, hope that he finds his niche and can enjoy appreciation from some other club’s fans – probably in the NLN.

I thought last season he looked like his legs had gone somewhat. Beck reminded me of Chris Iwelumo a.k.a The Tree and when we signed him he was physically shot to bits.

He looked 2 yards short of NLN pace when he arrived but had hardly played at Solihull so no surprise.

A bit of game time and he only looked a yard off the pace towards the end of the season.

Given this league is a yard quicker again than NLN he is a player in desperate need of a strong preseason so glad he’s turned up.

Can’t see him being anything other than a plan C hoof it up the field option when trying to salvage a point or 2. Even then Boycie likely to get the nod first if he’s on the bench as well.

Go on Mark. Prove me wrong please.

While AB made it pretty clear in his interview that Maison Campbell will be No 1 he surely isn’t daft enough to believe we can start the season with only one GK in the building? ( Given it may well be September before he can sign an EFL loanee). I expect to see one ( or more) Triallist GK’s between the sticks in the upcoming friendlies!

Heard hes converting Beck into a goalie.
With him doing so well last season keeping the ball out of the net.

Sounds like Butler will be signing 2 more players on loan. Sensible guesses would be GK and RB.

Unusual to be naming the trialists.

    Raj Uppal?

Too many Dawes’ to have a clue but CB perhaps?

I wish Marc Beck good health and a successful season in the year ahead.
Lineker had a period where he didn’t know where the back of the net was.
Let’s back Beck and hopefully he’ll come good!

Harry shipstone is a central midfielder, ex Grimsby
Raj Uppal plays upfront and has been at a lower level “scored a good goal tonight”
Johnathan Gjoshe plays RB and again comes from lower level.
Tyrell Dawes ex Sheff wednesday youngster is a CB.
Munoz I think plays LB, but no idea who he is. That must be the pint sized Llama sitting fella in the Loughton Woods Picture.

No, this isn’t from Football manager, but from Mino Raiola. One of footballs biggest super agents. I was sent over individual dossiers on each player sent to me as PDF files.

Uppal didn’t score a good goal, went right through the goalie who dived over it,he looked far too lightweight and weak,be shocked if we followed up on him.

I was close then ?. Was told by a top contact of mine that Uppal took 3 players on and volleyed it in from 25+ yards. I’ll be having words.

How did that Munoz look, any good ?

Didn’t really get involved a great deal to make a fair comment on him.

Eze and Howe best 2 players first half.
Dawsons a lot bigger bloke than I thought, was always under the impression he was short like his dad for some reason

No doubt there was one on Viktor Gyökeres. He’s been linked with every other club in the world so why not us?

Well in AB’s post match with Ollie looking to bring in another keeper, a Mo Fadera type for the left and a RB.

We have a Mo Fadera flair type player in Eze, he plays no 10 and on both flanks. Definitely need a RB and a goalkeeper.

Same set up tonight with the current batch of Triallists, then over the next few days there will be a cull. We may keep one or two on and see how they go at Cleethorpes. Might be some new Triallists in next week, who knows, a GK may well be one of them!

Skillful lad albeit against relatively mediocre opposition. Would have had a hat trick first half with reasonable finishing.

Hope Ewing can do it against better sides but it’s refreshing to see a midfielder running the game. Long time since we have had a midfielder with the balls to even try it.
