Yes let’s have all the stay-aways back on Saturday. I’m beginning to get the excitement and enthuiasm back for looking forward to Saturday’s match. This has been missing during the last three seasons whilst we have been watching The Iron. Onwards and upwards!!!!

Pack the park and don’t spoil the atmosphere by chanting his name.
“One David Hilton” is the new call.

That really made me chuckle, Cliff! Never mind the result, just ensure there are enough pies for the half-time rush — priceless.

Not sure how many Bromley take away but 4,000 would send a positive message to the new chairman.

If everyone that has said they are going turns up we should be over the 4,000 mark.

My first 180 mile round trip for 4 years. I wonder why…….??

Another really good interview on Humberside this time from Nelson.

Hands up I criticised him on here for his interview after the Notts County game for having a go at the players in public. He has proved me wrong because he got a positive reaction from the team and has maintained higher performance levels ever since.

    Well done Admiral.

Listened to the interview sounds a good guy ,reading betweem the lines he will build the flats proberbly ? But for the long term gain of Scunthorpe Utd and wants to make the club self sustainable .
Seems like the Ilkeston fans rate him extremely highly .

I guess now you move on and this season surely its imperative you stay in the NL , gain some strength and then consolidate.

Its such a tough league and with the way hes talking wont be throwing daft money at it so getting back in the league might take some time .

But at least the iron were saved !

In the next few years the NL will surely get weaker to as the big spenders will get out , i expect mostcof the clubs will want to see the back of Wrexham ,Chesterfield and Notts then it will be a more equal league .

League 2 is silly now (thats the one thing i agree with Swann about ) the amount clubs are throwing around on wages isnt sustainable ; the reality is we have a bottom half budget working to the sustainable model even though we are one of the best supported .And as for league 1 its a mini champ now.

Let’s not get too carried away, anything above 3,000 gets the rozzers worried, they can’t cope.
