The same paper group though, and isn’t Charlie working for Yorkshire Live at the moment.

Not sure. It was him that quite clearly jumped the gun…you can understand now why Swann got so annoyed with them.

This is what you get when you get somebody announcing something when it’s some distance from being finalised.

It’s the SET trying to get a scoop to justify their existence, if it doesn’t happen they and Wilson will look right chumps, again.
Agree with WG it’s not difficult to see why Ernie gets annoyed with them.

I think Lillis has done a “lord lucan” on us. Seriously, isn’t this signing taking a bit too long now ?

It was first broke by an employee of SET. Charlie somebody, forgot his surname !

Charlie Wilson, he means well. Just being in the right place at the right time was all Charlie needed to fly the Lillis kite. Can’t argue with the accuracy though and like Cox, Lillis was keen to come back as recorded on a Bru podcast.
Patience now for the dream duo to work their magic and lets jump aboard this band wagon for one hell of a ride.

I’m now looking forwards to things starting for real, just need a couple more signings and we should be well set up.
I’m sure it will make a big difference having some passion in the dugout.

I think Ernie is starting to listen to what the punters want?

Have to agree with vader (partly)
A couple more signings – yes please.
Passion in the dugout – long overdue.
Listening to what the punters want – mmmmmm.

Very pleased with this signing. We do need to patient because this is a bigger task due to the age of the squad and the salary cap.

Certainly passion will be evident and I know that all the players will get the opportunity and the ‘bottom lip’ attitude will not be acceptable.

Excellent news.We now have a management duo who are intent on entertaining the fans.We now need Ernie to stop thinking that he`s a cross between Roy Of The Rovers and Joe 90,keep his nose out and let them do their jobs on the field and rebuild bridges off it.

Snowflakes like you need to chill out as well PP and stop getting worked up if your half time cuppa isn’t the perfect temperature.

An experienced Gk and a dominating CM player would do nicely. Matt did say on twitter a few days back that we were/are in for another CB so like all you lot, not really sure what’s going on.

    I wouldn’t know Pat.

Just hoping the destructive comments are put on the back burner so that the club can get some stability.

Do we need a CM? – How can we know?
Too many players we know so very little about and that also includes Hallam, to a degree.
    Spence? Vincent?
    Dunno.

Don’t get me wrong I am chuffed to see Mark back in the Iron fold and I think his experience will be invaluable to Coxy but I’ve just seen his interview on the website and boy the years haven’t been kind. I’m surprised they didn’t keep him in the care home 😂😂😂. Welcome back Mark, just joshing.

I was shocked when it said he was 60 and he’d been gone 21 years meaning when he left he was only 39!
He’s never been a young looking man.

I wouldn’t care if he looked like a modern day interpretation of the elephant man, as long as he brings the squad and club together.

Come on Lillis you beast !

Gilliead has so many skills – no reason why he may not become the pivot of this team.

Good to see Mark back with us, Neil and Mark could easily make a good management team, I hope that they are given enough time in the job to blend the squad.

Lillis has been come out of the game for a while now and whilst his motivational skills are undisputed, is he yesterday’s man when it comes to tactics?

Some ‘modern thinkers’ may regard 4-4-2 as ‘yesterday’s tactics’

With one fit centre back it may not be a viable option.

Little more to it than that though. It’s not just formations, it’s about players’ roles, exploiting opposition weaknesses, getting the best out of your own team.

Managers trying to play modern Premier League tactics has not done us a great deal of good and is one of the main reasons we’re back in the 4th Division.

I think a back to basics approach and stopping arsing about with tactics and formatikns that the players aren’t up to makes perfect sense.
