Can’t believe we’ve sold our allocation for this already- Especially with recent form.
Any talk of additional tickets being allocated ?
September 28, 2021 at 7:17 pm #214400What’s form got to do with an away day, and it been Harrogate, new ground, and a tourist town. I was shocked it took a week to sell out, and thought they would have offered season ticket holders first dibs but it seems to have worked out ok.
September 28, 2021 at 7:27 pm #214402Does that mean I’ll have to go in the home end?

Never done it before but tempted with this one.
Looking at the initial allocation I should’ve ordered a ticket straight away. Seems to be a couple of hundred light on what they usually allocate though

There will be plenty of new grounds to visit next season mate.
Regarding season ticket holders, I do not think that the club have season ticket holders contact info, because I have spoken to at least ten previous ticket holders that have not renewed this year but have been ticket holders for many years, and not one has received anything from the club asking why they have not renewed.
There just isn’t any contact or information between the presently run club and supporters, all they seem to put of the club page, is info on how to purchace tickets, but never any info on what is happening, supporters have been accepted as lost items to forget about.
September 29, 2021 at 1:27 pm #214423They have no interest in the fans. The comment made from club leadership at the 1st Swann Club Forum said it all.
All they wanted was people to turn up, have a pie and a pint be entertained by the football on offer and then go home ! And at any future forums any suggestions were rejected – and accompanied with ‘We know what we are doing, leave it to us’ !!
To all going to Harrogate have a great day and they (Harrogate) will be very pleased to see you.

September 29, 2021 at 3:27 pm #214427You’ve got to be careful with contact BR, imagine the furore on here if they asked about renewing and someone had died, the club would be called insensitive, they know, you know how to renew and possibly leave it to you, not like their going to enter a back and forth conversation that you may wish, you could always drop them an email.
September 29, 2021 at 9:09 pm #214435Do they answer emails?
Because they dont answer letters.September 30, 2021 at 9:24 am #214440Would you like me to write you a letter Alcy? You seem so hurt and spurned by the lack of response.
September 30, 2021 at 9:57 am #214441Neither hurt, nor spurned, thanks.
But if you are running a business you answer letters, texts and emails.
If you don’t, eventually your business will hit the rocks…and guess what?

September 30, 2021 at 10:31 am #214444To me it indicates that, as with supporters, there is little communication between those in overall authority and those being paid to do the basics of running a business. Two examples – PS will not answer emails/letters personally, nor will he wash the seats at GP. He is told both things are done and leaves it there even though supporters tell him differently.

September 30, 2021 at 10:34 am #214445I don’t disagree with either of you – I just feel Alcy has very slightly over-laboured this point and I was wondering if some letters on the doormat might help him get some sort of closure.
September 30, 2021 at 6:22 pm #214458I’ve over laboured it, I admit.
But it was an enlightening for me.
Previous to that, like many, I had every confidence in Swann, but his removal of the oap concession**, closely followed by the failure of either him or Rodwell to reply to my letters, soured me towards him.
Later on he claimed that he/the club responded to all letters, a blatant untruth, which further lowered my opinion of him.
And once your opinion of someone becomes negative, you start to see other negatives about them too.** Pedants: I know the oap concession still exists. Swann and Rodwell moved it from 60 to 65.

Really? I’d seen through him long before then.
