Nice to see him back on the pitch at Stockport after cancer, 30 years old now, all the best Connor hope you get many more games in before you retire.

Yes indeed. Came on as a sub midweek and got Stockport’s fifth goal in added time.

Another ex-striker I wish we had now!

You look at the haste to get him out at GP because of his toe injury now compare it to how we give Jordan Hallam a 2 year deal until June in 2023 !! Wasting money comes easy down there.

Jordan Hallam a 2 year deal until June in 2023

That’s one of the most craziest deals we’ve completed. Hallam either needs paying up or loaning out in Jan.

No point at all in keeping a player here who simply isn’t even able to play. May as well just buy a cardboard cut out of an ex footballing great…stick it in the treatment room and use it as a clothes rack.

Utter madness giving him another deal. O’Neil needs to follow him along with Loft “who looks like he’s on his way out”

I’d send Wood back as well to Hull if at all possible. Hackney I’d keep though, he’s at least shown he’s capable.

Interesting to rant about a player always being injured and not contributing on a thread about a player who’s been out injured & worse and has just made a scoring return to playing. Almost as if sometimes it’s worth playing the long game.

I very much doubt that it’s Hallam’s fault that he’s always injured.
Sometimes life gives you bad spells.
(Over a pretty short period, I’ve had six cousins die – most significantly younger than me!)
