Iron-awe look at the state of the squad. No balance whatsoever. Butler’s had a full pre season and yet has no idea who is best 11 is or what system is best used to get the best out of the players.
No defensive shape whatsoever. Very little team cohesion and we look lopsided, all the attacking play comes down one side and other side is pretty much dead.
Whether you like Butler or not, these are all facts. I can’t say I’m too keen on him due to his stubborn nature. Only reason why the GK situation hasn’t been rectified is because Butler is so sure on being proved right he dug his heels in and re-signed 2 GK’s that aren’t good enough.
I’m in the 10 game camp, which is reasonable. Give him until then and if nothings changed go for Maynard, ex York City boss if he’s still available.
