Well that’s cleared that up. According to the latest Trust News letter it was calls from Members requesting they set up a fund
Would that be Committee Members or ordinary Members ?
To me that breezily delivered comment in the email is a face saving / arse-covering exercise after they’ve read social media comments about their conduct, and realised they’ve slop-dropped a steaming wet one.
Even if what their email says was true, it’s seriously poor form indeed by the Trust to have not first widened their scope on the matter and put it to ALL members for comments / ideas / a vote before launching their campaign. The whole thing could have done with a lot more input and some moderate voices amidst the histrionics.
Are we to now assume that if two, three or four members shout a request loud enough at the Trust’s top brass they will action it?
This is not the Trust I had faith in. And, as such, as it stands I no longer have faith in it.
