I am also not sure how that stinking performance, where they didn’t register a single shot until 117 minutes, could be seen as an unpopular opinion to hold. If England played like that, we would have been embarrassed and calling for inquests. It was so bad I felt happy that they not only lost, but played so badly and put in a humiliating performance for the whole world to see. They see it as good. probably because they did some good elbows to the back.
