We got a VW Tiguan for that very reason.
My wife is now a wheelchair user and found it too high.
Went to a BMW 1 series which was great but developed a fault with the aircon/heating, which forums revealed was common🙁
And expensive. Like £1800 expensive, (full dash out, two days labour).🙁🙁
BMW fixed it free as a gesture of goodwill, but I was afraid it would go again, so we now have a Merc A series.
And love it.
