Hill is what we should have had months before if Swann pulled the trigger when he should have. I mentioned about Hill commenting about the last match about players not being fit.
I said few days back that we looked laboured around 35 minute mark against donny with the team pressing.
The same happened today after 60 minute mark…
Serious question here.
What the feck were Cox and Lillis doing during training sessions ?
I find it absolutely disgusting Hill is going to have to wait a while for this team to get up to the fitness levels required.
Absolute disgrace, we’ve played all these games and still not fit !
Really like Hill. The difference between a proper manager and Cox is astounding. Already spotted the piss takers and shirkers it seems and looks to have marked Beestin’s card.
I found it weird how Cox wouldn’t play him and now Hill hasn’t bothered so far.
Has Beestin become too comfortable and had started to extract the urine ?
It would appear that way. Hill won’t take any crap and if I was Beestin, I’d pull his finger out quick sharp.
How refreshing it is to actually have a commanding manager who 100% knows what he’s doing and who’s 100% dialed in.
A lot of hard work to do and the strikers bar Scrimshaw who’s hardworking but limited and Loft who has a lot of improvement still in him, we have Perry who’s definitely got something, Hackney has turned up, Kenyon looked different to those first games I saw him in and also got something in O’Malley and Rowe. Manny was also superb.
Watson we have an able GK so there is something there.
The depth is what worries me. 2 fit CB’S and Jarvis as the back up forward…jesus god above.
Jarvis looks like he needs a full minute to decide what to do and score. Never seen anything like it.
I’d honestly rather go down the Cameron Wilson/Harry Jessop route. I’ve seen enough of Jarvis now and he isn’t and will never be good enough.
I wonder as well If Hallam is one of those Hill mentioned about being injured all week and then declaring themselves fit on the friday ?
Anyway all in all, really pleased with Hill and can see improvement already.
Right man for the job 100% without a shadow of a doubt.
Shame he wasn’t here earlier but least he’s here now. If we can stay in touch, off load the bluffers/shirkers/sicknotes and get 3 or 4 in.. I think we’ll be ok.
I like Hill, upfront and no bullshit. I couldn’t have asked for any more.
