It won’t happen, nice house in Hampshire, with millions (from payoffs in the bank) or live in Scunthorpe trying to avoid the stigma of relegation to non league, there’s not a chance he will come back, why would he want too.
As much as we would all like it you have to be realistic.7 users thanked author for this post.
Nice house in Hampshire, why on earth would Nigel come back, especially when the average managerial life expectancy is about twelve months.
It’s O’Leary time again!

There’s some optimists on here, Scunny to score two or more goals!
NLI you can’t use Cox and tactics in the same sentence surely.
As someone said previously Cox thinks tactics are little white sweets in a small plastic box.
Just been reminiscing and looking on the old site, so many reminders of the good times and also wasn’t swamped with adverts and was lightenimg speed.
I was trying to find who it was that was always banging on about Keith Hill and how we should have him as manager, anyone going to own up, you might still get your wish?1 user thanked author for this post.
The win against Tramere was a fluke, due to a penalty which wasn’t really a penalty.
Whichever way you look at it, whichever set of stats you look at we are shocking, and a lot of the evidence suggests it’s down to tactics, time for management changes.Taxi for Cox and Co.

It does seem like there is a “naughty step” which is pathetic given our current plight.
It’s starting to sound like whartons wurthers!

In one of his interviews PS suggested five games, with Sat being the fifth, so I think no points on sat and its bye bye Coxy. If we don’t improve and he stays another five games after Sat there would be outrage and further reductions in attendence, sat is last chance saloon I hope.

I agree and think Cox should be gone but I also think Swann is persisting for the reasons I quoted and is hoping for a Robbins/Sir Alex moment, even though this just won’t happen.
It reminds me of Paul Jewel at Derby 2007/08 season where if I remember correctly I think they managed to get something like 7points.
Taxi for Cox.

Could it be?
Bruce leaves by mutual agreement, on his way to save Scunny.😂
I suspect its the cost to get rid that is keeping him in a job. While there is hope we might turn the corner he will survive as it will conserve cash, and the last two games have shown slight improvement although lose on Saturday and surely he has to go.
If he’s here at the end of the season we are doomed.3 users thanked author for this post.
As I’ve said several times before, he’s another Wilcox but not as good.

Thats half the problem, worrying about the opposition too much rather than going for it and making them worry about us.

Surely Cox knows he’s not good enough, that’s why he made him no2 and got another keeper in.
Before any new manager can arrive we need rid of the current incumbent, I can see us scraping a draw at Barrow which will prolong the agony/inevitable.
That’s why the next manager won’t be Keith Hill!
PS said in one his interviews he would review after five games, that’s three gone, so if no points after next two games perhaps we will see action taken.
Weren’t Stevenage in a similar position at this point last year, and they still escaped, so there is still reason to be optimistic, just.
I was wondering how long it was going to take for someone to point this out NI, it is indeed further illustration of how bad things are.
Will minority shareholders need to sign an NDA to allow them to attend?

If the issue with KDT is conflict with Cox, if Cox goes KDT may well return and become our top scorer.
Which ever way you look at it you cannot blame Wharton for this mess.

The manager’s summary in his interview was ‘pityful’
Don’t think anymore has to be said – other than he seemed overly nervous and on the brink of saying something he shouldn’t.it was interesting that he actually said that some of the players are just not good enough (even though he signed most of them).
He did sound a broken man though, I suspect he would like to walk but if he did he wouldn’t get a pay off so has to wait for the bullet. If it were a boxing match it would be classed as a mismatch.

October 9, 2021 at 9:42 am in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #215122I thought PS said in one of his recent interviews if a buyer came along he would sell, so in my opion the club is up for sale. The thing is we won’t know anything for certain until a new owner is announced and I expect a change of ownership might be quite complicated the way “its assets” are split between the chairman’s companies.
