You can’t sign a free transfer but you can sign out of contract players at any time.
I think he might even be helping Peter with his press statements.
By the way I hope someone has got the O’Hara keepers number on speed dial.
An injury to our (so far) player of the season would be a disaster.

Of course NI. This is the Iron after all.
The Chairman’s latest statement is probably the most frank, humble and honest one he has ever made.
Personally I am putting any anti ownership emotion on hold until the seasons outcome is determined. Time to wholeheartedly get behind the club and the team whilst we try and work the miracle.

Worthington was some footballer.
Would have had 50 plus international caps if he had limited his extra curricular activities.
Will any of the new boys get a run out tonight in the Lincs Cup?
Only 6ft 2in on Wiki which is right about as often as Boris.
5ft 9in or 5ft 10in on all other sites.
Let’s hope if he’s not big at least he’s nasty.
Is he a German by any chance?
Feeney gave a decent impression of a midfielder on Saturday.

And Feeney Ferrite
So that’s Loft, Scrimshaw and Hippo gone. Get rid of Beeston and send Burns back and that should reduce any chance of scoring a goal from slim to none.

They got relegated but the fans kept going. We didn’t get relegated but a lot of fans stopped going.
Amazing what a change of ownership can do.

Earlier in the season this would have raised a cheer in our house. Since Hill arrived he has been arguably our best outfield player.
Difficult to believe when the likes of Green and Turan are still here. Of course its very unlikely anyone in the top 6 tiers would take them so perhaps we have to get rid of 1 or 2 that we would rather keep to make some space.

There may be something in the loan conditions that prevents paying up a contract and signing a different player.
That process could be abused and let’s face it Turan would be long gone of it was that easy.
If the money was right I bet he could put up with a 3 month spell in the frozen north.
Suspect he will get some decent offers nearer to home though given his goalscoring record.

To be fair it was an excellent corner and a fair number of Vale fans admitted their was more than a hint of handball involved in the finish. We were at the opposite end so couldn’t see if that was the case.
It was one of only 2 bits of real quality from Vale in the game, the other being a good corner routine in the first half that ended in them hitting the post. Other than that it was probably Rory’s quietest game for a while.
Our weakness now (no surprises) was a lot of decent play but with the lack of goal threat. Burns ran himself ragged as usual. Green was a passenger when he came on and Sinclair had some nice touches but never really caused them a problem.
Need 2 forwards and a centre back by Monday evening to stand any chance of making a fight of it.
I would give Grant the captains armband now. Was great to see him and Feaney display a bit of nous. Something our team has been without since Bish and Murphy left.

No great surprise with Kenyon. He was carrying a lot of timber when he got here and turned slower than a supertanker. No surpise he has been unable to get to Hill’s required fitness levels. Davis is a trickier one. Making him captain before seeing him play for the club did not help him. He never looked much of a captain and never really played well enough to warrant getting picked ahead of Manny and Taft (which speaks volumes).
Whoever picked them Swann, Cygnet or Cox dropped a rather large pair.

I think there was a decent penalty shout in there too.
Peaked too soon Fe02

Probably just enough detail to drop him in it Pele.
Same old same old. The lads work really hard. Stay in the game. Everything falls apart when we get near their box.
The opposition do feck all much then bang. One piece of attacking quality then it’s probably game over
Happy to be proved wrong in the second half.
Good thing the experience Swann and Cox brought in last Summer are doing so well. Hang on where are Davis, Kenyon and Millen. And would it make a blind bit of difference if they were here?

I hope he stays but not convinced he will without Nuttall and another couple of incomers with a hint of quality.
Loft has one decent game in 5 so the odds are good. Sods law says tomorrow will be one of the 5.
If Manny and Taft don’t deal with him then at least we know they are definitely shite.

I think the young lad from Wolves deserves the benefit of the doubt, at least for a couple more games.
He has had no mens football for a considerable time and there is certainly some ability there. There is not much in our other right back options. Let him get match fit and judge him then.

It’s Frank but I suspect his football might be more like Sir Clive’s.

Hope he’s as good as his old man was.
He’s not been on his own either.
Not on that Hill doesn’t give you a call to discuss team news MK. Grow up ffs.
I dont need a personal call and in any case my issue is with you and your old man, not with the manager.

Of course this is Swann’s Scunthorpe United. We have to guess what is going on with the players and their health and fitness.
Perry has been nowhere to be seen for weeks and then he suddenly appears. The German is nowhere to be seen for a year then he suddenly appeared last week and then disappears again. Where is Kenyon? Where was Jarvis today? Hallam turned up today for his regulation 10 minute appearance as he does every couple of months.
What the feck happened to Millen that meant we sign an unfit teenager to replace him.
If you ran a Sunday league side like this you would expect and deserve criticism. I am fucking devastated with the shambles the fat controller has turned my football club into.
