Well said NI, people who donate to Prediction League and Patreon or both are helping the site so if we have a sponsor good on Brad and the two Matt’s for making it possible and keeping Bru going.

To me sitting close to the gantry it was a fairly normal view.

Anyway Bartonscorpian what was it like not having to leave before the end to get out of the Car Park.

I said steady, but nothing special,( his performance yesterday ), in other words I didn’t say he was rubbish but not outstanding either not a useless footballer, I haven’t seen enough of him to form that opinion but I don’t think he is a regular full back and was only referring to yesterday’s game.

Watson 6 – I think he would have saved the goal if our player hadn’t deflected it, put us under pressure for not coming out at corners.
Hornshaw 6 – steady but nothing special
McGahey 7 – got 90 minutes in and played OK
    Cordner 7 – good game
Bedeau 6 – not his best game
Hippolyte 7 – decent debut, will get better
Spence 6 – OK but not outstanding
Vincent 6 – looked better last week
Gillihead 6 – is better on the wing
Eisa 6 – tried hard but better on the wing
Loft 8 – isolated but scored a great goal and I am waiting to see him with Turan or KVV as a front pair

referee 9 – was very good for both teams and didn’t want to be the centre of attention

Cox 5 – too much Wilcox style influence at the moment with style of play, probably do to injuries and Turan only just getting his Permit, Neil said he wants him and Loft upfront together, a bit surprised Colclough not being brought on for his experience late on seeing he started against Vale and to me wasn’t that bad and made the goal, but these young players will get better.

These inexperienced players will get better and remember we have players to come back, also will be interesting to see two 6’2” plus strikers up front together because Neil said tonight he wants to play them together but the German lad has only just got his visa, surprised Colclough wasn’t brought on for his experience because they looked comfortable at the back late on, cracking goal by Loft though but poor defending by us for theirs, I think Watson would have saved it if it hadn’t got the deflection.

les Scunny put it on Twitter about the commentary, and said about how to change it but did say EFL are hoping it will automatically switch to to the local commentary for Saturday to the club you have registered to and watching the game on.

why did you listen to their commentary les, if you had gone into settings you could have had Radio Humberside’s, the bit I saw of the preseason game their commentators took biased to a new level.

Didn’t they say a couple of weeks ago the clubs got all money until fans are back in the ground, I can see all games will be shown to away fans because I don’t think away fans will be allowed for a few months yet.

The clubs are getting the money Alfred, and the away games Barton will be like Tuesdays game at Lincoln you will order it like the Port Vale game, how the money works out between home and away clubs I don’t know, but a mate of mine who supports Rotherham says in the Championship he understands that it is estimated how many away supporters would normally attend and any more goes to the away team, but that isn’t confirmed and may be different in league 1 and 2.

For a first game of a season we had a lot of players missing today which is not very good, I have no idea if Vale were short of any players, so we will have to wait and see whether the missing lads make much difference.

I wish someone would coach our lot to score injury time winners, again they scored from a cross but whether Rory could have done better I don’t know, I think our defender might have put him off, but he did play better today.

It’s not McAtee who has the virus, he must be injured.
    Rowe isn’t there either.

it is just a thing that most business’s use in case you are offered a code, but just check with your device that it plays the Gillihead video if you haven’t got the full package because I got the information from the club, so don’t wait until the game starts.

Laptop, open the Scunthorpe webpage, make sure you are logged in to iFollow, look for the interview with Gillihead, click to watch it and if it’s OK you are good to go for tomorrow’s game according to iFollow.

Similar for Android and iOS via the EFL App.

I have downloaded the EFL App to my iPad and just hoping for the best, EFL say you only need the basic pass for watching paid games or the early games and just login to iFollow on your Tablet or laptop to watch, just hope it’s a better experience than the Lincoln game last week.

I am waiting for the government to admit that the virus was here in December like France, Germany, Italy and America have done after Hospital tests, because the illness going around then wasn’t normal and Hospital deaths and admissions were higher than normal but put down to Pneumonia, the Doctor told me it wasn’t a normal chest infection doing the rounds because it was never going away, and symptoms varied from patient to patient but you couldn’t get rid of the cough and breathing problems when lying down and you had to sleep in the chair most of the time, 7 weeks I had it and lots of other people did as well, some local people have had antibody tests and have got antibodies, but they won’t give you a test unless you are NHS or to do with certain jobs, the doctor has told me unofficially I have had it but though the scientists have said it was here in November the government won’t admit it.

Has anyone else got the same sinking feeling we had a few years ago when we signed a ridiculous number of defenders? Just this time with forwards? None of the signings will have got the other League Two sides worried, only us!

not sure, like us they might have no idea who they are.
