John Eyre and Paddy Madden. The list will be very long until we get to Loft.

I can’t see any matches to enter predictions. Can anyone else?

Alcy actually wants us to go down. He values being proven to be right far higher than the future of the club he supposedly supports. He is right that we are on target for 35 points and if correct we will go down. But it’s too early to throw in the towel.

“Loft must be deluded if he thinks he can move on to better things”.

Clubs would have to overlook his poor ball control, his pass completion stats and less than prolific 9 goals in 49 matches before they realise what a great signing he would be.

Said before the season that if he was our main striker we would be doomed.

    “Who gives a crap ?”.

I do!! You often right these posts where the players are going to suddenly improve and then a couple of matches later they are “dog mess” and need “binning off”.

Will Green and Loft be able to control the ball better because Hill is the manager?

Not convinced that hoof ball is the way to go. The better teams in the league are not playing that style. To make it work you need good wingers, overlapping full backs and another lively forward to work with the big un. Don’t see much of that in the current squad.

Defenders and the goalie hoofing the ball just gives it back to the other side.

    Sky bet terms and conditions:

“Caretaker and interim managers completing at least 10 competitive games will be deemed the permanent manager”.

Is this a general condition or a special Swann clause?

“I seem to recall a Mr P. Hurst, formerly of North Lincolnshire, was quite successful in getting him to play well”.

That’s the point I’m trying to make. He has ability and this coaching team failed to do anything with him.

Stand corrected and hope we have a big sell on clause. The main point is that the coaches failed to get much from him in terms of skill and effort.

How come we allowed the newly appointed Cod messiah, McAtee, move to Grimsby for free. Surely a clear case of failure in the coaching, tactical and man management departments.

    Motivation not a problem??

Having watched the Barrow goal again, can anyone explain what Millen was doing letting his man get the ball into our box. He put more effort into falling to the ground after they scored than trying to stop the Barrow player.

Hardly backs to the wall defending was it. Has Swanny cancelled the win bonus???

“The worst squad in the league gets a draw away from home and this is sackable?”

It’s sackable because it has happened so many times before in the rare events when we are in a winning position.

There is a massive difference between keeping things tight and trying to hang on with all out defence for the final 40 minutes.

It is sackable because his defensive tactics fail over and over again because the defenders and midfielder are not good at it.

It is sackable because he substitutes players who are playing well and could score a goal to improve a winning position.

It is sackable because he is always happy with a point. Draws and losses mean relegation. It’s 3 points for a win and we desperately need wins or else we will stay where we are, rock bottom!!

Every match is like groundhog day. We aren’t going to win any matches setting out not to lose with these 3 centre backs.

30% possession at home is not good enough. We are playing Forest Green not Liverpool FFS.

We are a crap team but crap teams beat good teams every season in the FA Cup by playing with spirit, effort and putting the other team under pressure by attacking.

    Cox has to go.

The fact is that Bucks suddenly jumps in with his “open letter” like Rik Mayall as Lord Flasheart having hardly made a single post on this forum for the last 18 months, he had seen the light!!

Look at me, me, me all the way.

And he is still having a go at posters for reaching the same conclusion about Swann at least 3 years before he has suddenly seen the light. Extreme vanity!!!

Same question ad NI. Have you sent the letter to Swann?

Cox is sat outside the boardroom waiting for Swann to finish his 8 hour conference call with Bucks.

Does the club still need a conference room when all the board members live in the same house?

Number 1 on Swann’s agenda for Monday morning. Read the open letter from Bucks, bound to be the final straw that prompts Swann into immediate action.

The aggregate score from the punters on the prediction league is 44 v 5. So I suppose 2 v 0 at half-time is a cracking result.

Watched the goals on the video below. The Newport fans are laughing at us at the end of the game. Not too many seasons since teams like Sheffield United, Forest, Newcastle, Bolton, Wigan, Millwall had nothing to laugh about when we played them.

Neil Cox, youth player, debut at 18, 17 games for the Iron, sold to Aston Villa for 400k.

Pick the youth players. They can’t do any worse than this lot. It might work, if not we will need them next year in the National League.

The supposed star of pre-season was Cameron Wilson. He can’t get in the team that doesn’t have any decent wide men. Behind Green, Hippo, Bunn, Hallam and Beestin.

Is he not good enough? Will he sign for Celtic at the end of the season? Are O’Malley and Wilson better choices for wide midfield than the others and the only prospects for a sell on fee? Only one way to find out, we are losing every match so not a lot at risk is there.

Here are the stats for the season to date for goals scored vs conceded.

    0-15 mins, 2v0
    16-30 mins, 0v0
    31-45 mins, 1v1
    45-60 mins, 2v4
    61-75 mins, 0v3
    76-90 mins, 1v5

Proves the obvious, we set out defensive at the start of matches. Only 1 first half goal conceded, the best in the league.

That’s followed by an utter shambles in the second half as we try to hang on. 12 second half goals conceded, the worst in the league!!.

Tactics wrong, players can’t keep pressing for 90 minutes, players are not fit enough, poor substitutions, the opposition know that we will crumble in the second half, we are predictable.

Stats indicate it is a combination of all of the above. Something better change!!
