Thanks Darryn, as you say, the Manager becomes important but to avoid duplication I wouldn’t mind a head coach appointment who will be in charge of team affairs. Past managers appear to want to get a number of underlings to reduce their workload while improving their apparent worth to the club. The backroom team is still too big IMO each wanting an assistant and sometimes an assistant for the assistant. This isn’t affordable today and going back to a coach or even a player coach could be a step forward. I welcome others thoughts on what will surely be the pivotal role in the new format.

Now Frank Vincent a centre mid player who comes with ringing endorsements. Mr Swann saving money in non essential areas, using this money wisely to amass a top six squad.

….couldn’t you start off as physio Brian and work your way up?

I used to massage dogs for the Chinese in Kuala Lumpur when I wasn’t business. 100rm for a 30 minute massage – easy money. However, I would probably need to go on a conversion course for humans.

It would appear Neil isn’t as popular as first thought. Then again who would be given the pay restraints this season?

In his interview on the official site he said “I just have to control the controllables, and get focused on taking the opportunity.” Let’s hope he has the same impact at the Club as the last person that said that did.

I heard that and thought of Nigel. He comes with some very positive comments about him from D & R fans. I am excited to see him play.

If the Allam family want to allow the club to fail then unfortunately that is what they will do. It is obvious when the rug is pulled from under the Manager as was the case last January when key players were sold McCann had an impossible task. Gate receipts will continue to diminish and league 1 may become league 2 next season. Debts to service at high interest rates. Premier league and parachute money has long gone. The ground isn’t even owned. Regardless of management Hull has got an uncertain future. Support for McCann and Byrne is more about continuing to pay them and not having to pay their contracts up if they are sacked.

Lewis Butroid – yes this will almost be a great season for him but still work to do.
If its true there haven’t been more than 1000 season tickets sold it is a big ask to expect the board to fund the club as in previous seasons without even knowing when there will be supporters allowed into the ground.
Regarding enthusiasm I would rather go into a season with realism and hope than predict the worst. It is true pessimists make the best prophets but I will continue to be positive. (Cheer up Brian – always look on the bright side of life)

Is it raining in Barton this morning Brian and keeping you out of the garden.

    Welcome back Brian.

Yes it was Mick, however, I really wanted to see if Bru was working as last night I assumed it was an ID10T error as my IT skills aren’t the best.
    Thank you for the welcome

Starting a KVV fan club Brian – can I put you on the list?!!
    Welcome back !

Hi Billy boy – I made my peace with KVV last year and was a fan all last year. As a senior pro this year I believe Kevin will rise to the challenge and become a fans favourite. I am a fan of the team, the club and the Board who continue to fund our little club.

My first post in years and now the thread I replied to is not even showing. I feel my criticism has singled me as as I said something positive about the club.
