Pre match in here please…
Another round of COVID testing in the morning – if any more come back positive I think the game will be in serious doubt.
October 25, 2020 at 6:40 pm #196592Anymore , don’t you think we have enough already around the team and management to justify calling the game off.
October 25, 2020 at 6:43 pm #196595Yes.
October 26, 2020 at 10:43 am #196628Check out Richie Wellens comments at Swindon and why they postponed !!
Nowhere near the problems we have, can’t see the EFL taking any action either !!
October 26, 2020 at 4:12 pm #196655Was it some advertising boards coming loose by any chance,😀 and Eisa injury sounds as though it could be long term according to Cox,let’s hope not
October 27, 2020 at 12:53 pm #196683Swindons game off again. Why the he’ll are we playing.
October 27, 2020 at 1:37 pm #196684Were not,He ho.
October 27, 2020 at 2:15 pm #196687But how many will still play tonight unaware that they could be spreading the virus?
The EFL should make money available for ALL clubs to test ALL staff now before it gets silly.
October 27, 2020 at 2:22 pm #196688They should have turned around at Birmingham on Saturday seeing the players had been in contact with the players who got off the bus, now 18 got it or isolating, Exeter will be worrying now.
October 27, 2020 at 2:35 pm #196691Only if they test Mick.

Why should the EFL pay? Why not each club pay for their own, with certification to prove that they have?
October 27, 2020 at 3:22 pm #196694Exeter were going to test the players Awaywego.
October 27, 2020 at 3:27 pm #196696Did not realise that some teams are not testing,it beggars belief,we will never get back to any kind of normal, thought that football league would have made it mandatory, but what do I know

The Football League are pants that’s why. Grimsby had one youth player test positive and didn’t play for a fortnight, we have several first team players test positive plus management and others isolating as a result and are allowed to carry on till today. Total incompetence by the authorities, predictable but ridiculous.
October 27, 2020 at 4:29 pm #196699Good summary.
October 27, 2020 at 4:35 pm #196700There is no club statement on Exeter’s webpage wether they have tested and are all clear Mick. They did anounce an emergency loan goalie in the last hour who goes straight into the team tonight,so no self isolation there. It’s a joke what’s happening.
October 27, 2020 at 5:10 pm #196702About time with the cancellations. The bigger picture is we could be 5-6 points adrift by the time we play our games and who is to say it won’t come round again or cancellations from other teams. I’m not advocating that we play I think the EFL have to take a serious look at this season and how disjointed and grossly unfair it will be on teams – it is somewhat shallow to moan about it being in the position we are in but this will occur again and again – with a backdrop of no fans and sterile football. It is killing the game and we are in the perfect storm of the chairman assembling the worst squad in history

their manager said on Sunday all their players were going to be tested, so they must be OK at the moment.
October 27, 2020 at 6:47 pm #196707Swanny said we were getting a new ground Mick. Surely Exeter would have made a statement like we have done from the beginning.
October 27, 2020 at 7:14 pm #196709October 27, 2020 at 7:35 pm #196711Already read it, But it does say this week Mick so I am a bit cynical about when they will or have tested.
October 27, 2020 at 7:42 pm #196712Ps.Mick look at the date of the report.
October 27, 2020 at 7:59 pm #196713Why should the EFL pay? Why not each club pay for their own, with certification to prove that they have?
Because presumably it was the EFL that decided that the new season should start in September.
October 27, 2020 at 8:46 pm #196716It was said after the game I saw it on Saturday, I don’t think they will have waited after another game so I presume they have had one and are OK
October 28, 2020 at 8:57 am #196726anyway Awaywego, their players have been tested but they haven’t got the results back as of yesterday.

So what? If we play in the league then we must follow the rules, which we know in advance. If we have problems then we must overcome them.
They don’t pay for the rehabilitation of injured players, nor for any operations that are needed. So why Covid tests?
October 28, 2020 at 11:37 am #196729Bloody farce Exeter played last night when they should have been self isolating, i thought you had to wait for the results before you mix again. Different rules for footballers obviously.
October 29, 2020 at 5:44 pm #196767All Exeter players have tested negative.
October 29, 2020 at 5:50 pm #196769A good positive outcome.
