Very sad indeed to see the passing of Neal Barrow cliff, what a lovely man with a great dry sense of humour, loved his trips on noggers tours and will be sadly missed by us all, regular Park runner as well, such a shame missing his beloved scunny and park run this last 18 months, but at least he died while holidaying having some enjoyment. RIP.
Worked with Neal for a short time at Sooner Foods ( that takes me back a few years ) and he was a lovely bloke who would help anybody anytime if he possibly could. Saw him occassionally at matches and had a natter and it was with real sadness when I read of his passing so suddenly. RIP Neal, top man.
a mate of mine rang me on the same night he died and told me of him passing, he loved Robin Hoods Bay were he died and did a lot of walking and jogging, the last time I saw Neal was outside my house on the Chesterfield Canal Bank when his walking group were on a ramble about 20 months ago with my mate and Nogger and his mates, Neal was such a nice bloke and knew him from Noggers Cons Trips to away games, RIP Neal.
That’s 2 off the bus this past year Mick what with Brian Vessey also, no wonder were called the saga crew.
that name rings a bell.
Ex scunny mayor, just Google Brian Vessel Scunthorpe for his photo.
A lovely fella, always a sunny face at parkrun. Even when he was volunteering there, he would jog up Kingsway to keep active. He’ll be much missed.
