Despite the information being in the public domain all season that the NLN Play Off Final was Sunday 5th May, the National League has today moved it. The National League final is now on the Sunday and the National League North final is on the Saturday (ie. May 4th). Really great for those of us who have spent time and not incosiderable money organising other things on the Saturday based around leaving the Sunday clear – which, again, has been noted as the fixture date for the last eight months. Absolute c**ts.
Of course, we have to get there first…

March 26, 2024 at 3:34 pm #283111Not really.
“Promotion Finals in the Vanarama National League North and South will take place at the home ground of the finalist club who finished higher in the league table during the regular season.”March 26, 2024 at 3:45 pm #283112Visitors to this site must piss themselves laughing on how thick some of our fans are.
The last few days I have found it embarrassing.March 26, 2024 at 4:22 pm #283114Not really.
“Promotion Finals in the Vanarama National League North and South will take place at the home ground of the finalist club who finished higher in the league table during the regular season.”Yes, thanks for pointing that out! Hands up that’s my mistake – I did not actually see that paragraph when skim reading as I hadn’t scrolled down beyond the NLN final info (and I had definitely read somewhere else that all three finals were to be played at Wembley).
The point stands, though – switching the date just a few weeks before, after months of the info being publicly available, is a bit poor.

They will when they see posters using ‘on’ when ‘at’ is the correct preposition.
