According to main character syndrome man on the other side. Michelle said so last night, he says. Does a £60 Iron Insider subscription buy that by way of advance news or is this in an Insider Inner Wheel package? Not good news for Potions Cauldron btw.
July 8, 2026 at 4:19 pm #322873Maybe Positivity Dave will be signing a contract to exclusively post on the iron insider forum, when that comes out, given he is now the communication outlet for the club.
July 8, 2026 at 4:24 pm #322874Not too inspiring for the trialists or Harry Parker.
July 8, 2026 at 5:04 pm #322878Who’s Harry Parker?
July 8, 2026 at 5:18 pm #322879Who’s Harry Parker?
Think he means Porky Parker
July 8, 2026 at 5:30 pm #322880I meant of course Hugh. Apologies for my mistake. Unlike fansy I occasionally make an error.

Yes, if he pays £6 a month and buys a wristband.
July 8, 2026 at 10:53 pm #322888Would be very concerned if we don’t secure the services of an experienced keeper.

Positivity Dave is talking out of his backside. No more signings coming in ?. Not the impression Butler gave in the post match Brigg interview.

July 9, 2026 at 4:41 pm #322910Shame he’s not behind a paywall.
Any wall would probably do.

July 10, 2026 at 6:49 am #322921I’m losing the plot.
Have we got a Hugh on the books or not?
Back in the 60s at John Leggot, Old Nick – teacher of some form of English – liked to attract the attention of pupils by shrieking ‘Hugh boy’ at the top of his voice to any inattentive pupil. (More often than not it was to my late, lifelong friend Ray Nimmo.)July 10, 2026 at 9:01 am #322922Plain to see who’s living rent free in your head Alcy!
Sending best wishes to Andy.

July 10, 2026 at 10:40 am #322926Jogging a few memories there les and alcy. I think young Nimmo was 2 or 3 years below me (cue Old Git jibes) Nicko never taught me, sadly Plod did. Dick Sendall, Spike Thornley and Mac are all fondly remembered.
July 10, 2026 at 11:55 am #322931My older bro has fond memories of Plod, apparently one day in class a pupil put up his hand to answer a question and Plod responded by saying “put down that arm boy before I break it off like a rotten twig”, sounded a really nice guy.

July 10, 2026 at 12:23 pm #322933I understand Plod had been a prisoner of the Japanese.
July 10, 2026 at 12:30 pm #322934I agree with your comments on the three proper teachers you mention, Cass, to which I’d add George Walker.
I ended up a languages teacher coz of Dick Sendall. I assume he’s no longer with us?July 10, 2026 at 1:00 pm #322946Never taught by GW, played cricket against him though, a real gent.
