Let’s Hope The Opening Two Months Fixtures Are Kind To Us

Yes, we have to play everyone home and away – but let us hope that we receive a kind, ‘easy’ set of fixtures for the opening couple of months of the new season.

All will be revealed on Wednesday 6th July.

The more of the likes of:
Wrexham, Notts County, Chesterfield, Solihull, Halifax, Dag & Red, Boreham, Bromley, Torquay (all teams that won more than they lost last season)

that we avoid in the first 8 to 10 games the better.

We need an ‘easy’ introduction to this league, time to adjust, time for the players to settle and jell, time to identify our best playing combination & formation (4-4-2), time to pick up points and build some confidence.

Fingers crossed.

Next season’s fixtures will be kinder, National League North should see us around mid table I hope.
