I can name and recognise one of his records , it’s awful, I can only name that one as I was in a band that sang a song called Galway girl(great song) and he had one the same name so it kept coming up when looking for version online. Anyway, he seems OK to me ,his fight against Touts is welcome , online touts owned by major online ticketing agencies are a huge sandal that for some reason government ignores .I just can’t figure out why these people ,MPs, who get to all the best shows ignore this illegal activity

Nothing against the bloke. I know he gets a lot of stick for being ubiquitous but that’s hardly his fault. He was quite good doing a cameo in a Beatles themed film (‘Yesterday’?)

George Ezra is worse. At least Sheeran’s lyrics aren’t grating in the manner of “green, green grass, blue, blue sky.”

No fan of Sheeran’s music, but seems an ok guy.

Impressed with the way KT tunstall and Ed Sheeran have popularised their unique sounds with the use of modern day looper systems, technically they are both very good artists. Not everyone will appreciate their sounds and that’s probably more a generational thing which is how it should be really, every generation should embrace it’s own sounds and fashion trends, it’s what growing up is all about IMO.
